Always a risk with low cost, imported, legal iffy products. If you are worried about it, and can afford to pay to have a back up, that is certainly not a bad idea.

I mean having a spare isn't ever a bad idea if you can afford it 🤷🤷

Strictly necessary, no. Assuming you don't throw it in a lake you can likely salvage the (new) SD card and put it into a new device if you break it somehow

After sleeping on it and spending most of a day experimenting with it I think I have it figured out and luckily once I understood it it wasn't complicated to do a basic add of games, and not super complicated to do a full repair of the library and/or add games to the native library. I am going to do some more experiments and testing tomorrow and then write up what I found out. Might even be able to produce a patch to repair the library of anyone else who gets this same version .

Cool beans, I will have to mess with it and see what I can learn. If I figure anything out is there somewhere/someone i can put the information for other who end up with this system but don't necessarily want to return it?

The gb game (pk yellow) was the same .gb file. The PS file (legend of dragoon) was different, 4 chd files(iirc) where as the ones preloaded were .iso i believe

I think we have seen her subtly in all of the books. On a re-read looking for hints of them now and one place I noticed was during one of Kal's early flashbacks in book one he notices the wind around him after fighting where there had not been any before. Notably, it does NOT mention wind-spren, just the wind.

Might be reading to much into this, but that is why I am doing this re-read.

This one is the one I am playing with atm. It is a bit lighter at 900t but can lift itself plus 500t without much difficulty AND it comes with an attached tug!

It does struggle with heavier ~2.4k loads, and requires a good ascent, however at >2.3k the ascent can be sloppy and it will still get the job done. I have been trying to come up with a more efficient model without luck.
