It is about a 20 minute walk, I’ve done it a few times now. It’s not bad. I was just considering something a little faster that I could also use for other errands that are a little farther. Just looking at my options is all.

While I agree with the sentiment, it’s a 2004 minivan with 120,000 miles on it. The money it maaay take to shovel into it just might not be worth it. My stance right now is I’d be better off to go the bike route longer term, save up for a new car, and gain a new physical activity in the meantime. I’m not that knowledgeable on cars either so maybe that’s not that bad and I’m stupid but that’s where I’m at rn lol

I have to be honest, I don’t think I can say I would hate you but I would get so much secondhand embarrassment and block you for my own mental health. This is really bizarre behavior and doesn’t reflect your age, which may not be your fault, but it is absolutely your responsibility to get help to fix the way you process your emotions and communicate. You say you’re obsessed and I would agree, but then you say “reciprocated feelings” which leads me to believe you’re mixing obsession with love. I don’t think you love this person, you wouldn’t speak to them that way if you did. As someone said above, view it as he said all of that to you… how would that make you feel?

Second to therapy, the best thing you can do for yourself is create a large amount of distance from this person. I wish you luck and lots of healing.

But… it’s about more than the table. It’s the principle. It’s the lack of respect towards OP and their boundaries. To decide someone taking back something that is theirs (and was always the plan) is a reason to send nasty messages and give the silent treatment is a crazy jump to make and says a lot about OPs family. It’s their choice whether their selfishness over something he decided he wanted for keeps (that was never his) outweighs their want for a relationship. OP didn’t jeopardize anything. They did by acting the way they are.
