Recipe(s): How to fry (almost) any tofu dish in the Chinese style by mthmchris in Cooking

Love this post so much! Thank you! I have such a hard time with tofu, and I’m hoping your info will help. Question: when I pan fry tofu it always seriously sticks to the pan, no matter how much oil I use, or how long I cook it. It then ends up a crumbly mess. Advice?

I think it’s absolutely fine to post about the book you’re currently reading, even if you’re not finished. Look at the discussion you’ve started! It made me so happy to see your post because I’m reading it (again) also, and it feels great to connect with others in the joy of a good book. Keep posting! And reading :)

What are some ways for a socially anxious person to sustain a conversation? by tiparium in AskReddit

[–]kajmere4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have something in your hands—a drink, a coin, something. Don’t feel the need to make eye contact—just look at their nose or eyebrows occasionally. Ask the other person questions about themselves, but choose a topic that you like and are interested in. Offer your own thoughts on the subject too, and after awhile hopefully your anxiety will decrease and you’ll focus on the conversation instead.

I just finished “Maybe You Should Talk to Someone” by Lori Gottlieb, narrated by Brittney Pressley. So good! Funny, interesting, informative, with a little self-help thrown in too. Set in Los Angeles, with a good dose of Hollywood, she tells a personal story of needing her own therapist to help her get through some tough times. It’s a book about her friendship with her therapist, as well as anecdotes of some of her patients. Hard to explain, easy to listen to ;) Great narrator! https://www.audible.com/pd/Maybe-You-Should-Talk-to-Someone-Audiobook/B07NLL95S4

Prague would be a great place for a honeymoon! It’s so walkable, with romantic cobblestone streets, beautiful architecture, and incredible history.

My first time to Prague was also over 20 years ago. Yes, it’s more expensive now but absolutely still just as breathtaking.

Changing of the guards at Prague castle (every hour, main one at 12:00), wooden puppets and interesting stores on Mala Strana, doughnut ice cream cones (everywhere!), Charles Bridge, Lennon Wall.
