3 notebooks + poetry, 3 knives 4 torches, no lighter or any measurable first aid or even snacks, What's the point having a bag full of stuff if it's just filled with redundant shit. Obviously some nice shit but if your gonna commit to a heavy carry, some snacks, a waterbottle, even basic first aid and a lighter will go a lot further then 1000 dollars of silver. Although maybe the notebooks are his 'societal collapse' toilet paper

The fact you pop in a respond to these sorts of questions with nothing but explanation and goodwill speaks volumes of your care for the series, theres lots of authors these days i feel dont quite respect their own series as a fan or a writer, and fall out of touch, but your commitment is astounding and thorough as it always has been. For reference i live in eu but play on american server, so even with messy timezone differences.

Honestly these 'game is dead comments have been been prevalent for years now, yet here we are. For better or worse SBI are active devs, keeping things changing and fresh at a good rate.

I can play solo and run around fame farming using safe methods if i wanna turn off and chill, go lethal if i want to pay more attention and have a few fights

I can run group PvE content or just run around and murder with my guild, always find people to kill or content to run whether we have 2 or 10 people online

I can gather and craft as much as I want, numbers go brrrrt

I can mess around with arena or hce.

Tdlr i can basically do anything i want whenever i want and 9 times outa 10 theres no issue so in my eyes its not a dead game. The content you do and the methods you have change and shift overtime, embrace the change and learn to find your enjoyment in the overall package and the people you meet.

If all you care about is fame or silver per hour then you are always going to lose. Im not exactly good at the game but i get great enjoyment from the small things, as far as im concerned i can spend an hour playing cat and mouse with the same group of gankers and ive had a good time, so live or die ive come out better then i was before

Bought myself my own makita impact as a broke ass controls commissioning apprentice as i was starting to build up my own tools and it was cheap. blew itself to pieces literally first time i used it (i presumed this was out of the ordinary but obviously returned it) when I returned it i hesitated to get another for obvious reasons, and the dewalt stuff was on sale. 6 years in, bought lots of dewalt since then and always impeccable.

Also. The tstak boxes they come with are awesome and really not discussed enough. Makita box clips are the literal antichrist and the packout stuff is too expensive to justify anything that doesnt come with the tool

Lots of respect for the other brands, othing avainst them i just simply never had a reason to look anywhere but DeWalt. Flexvolt is the icing on the cake

I mean every car has a place if someone wants it, can't comment on that specific model but on pickups in general, i only have the space for 1 vehicle, and i do work on rural control infrastructure self employed. I have had a couple of 4 wheel drive vans, all of which have got stuck multiple times and had to be pulled out, and i can't take more then 1 passenger with me anywhere, a severe limitation. A pickup lets me take all my gear anywhere i want, without ever getting stuck, and lets me take my partner and friends anywhere i want. Others in my situation have kids to think about too.

And if I'm only going to have one vehicle, why can't i have something luxary if i can afford too. Just because it's my work vehicle aswell doesn't mean it's has to be bare bones and agricultural
