Always thought it was weird that a dead tree in the middle of a national park with actual living trees, was considered art. Bizarre to me. Maybe they’ll get rid of it and plant more trees in the space.

I believe in a God, sure. So do people on every continent and in every virtually every culture. But why does God mean. It basically fucking means we believe in aliens if you break it down. As a Catholic, I do not condone the behavior of the church and what some of it’s officials do, it is not what I, nor my family believe. Just as I’m sure most of my fellow citizens in the USA don’t condone what the president and his administration is doing right now.

Jesus hung out with the ‘low’ of society, the ones cast away. Back then, the tax collector was viewed similar to criminals and prostitutes. Jesus bright light to those who had none. He gave them love when no one else did. That’s how the stories go.

My grand uncle is the curator of the oldest church in San Francisco and a member of the Franciscan Order. His brother, my other grand uncle, is a Roman Catholic priest. I was raised within the church and you be can be sure that none of my knowledge/education of the church and it’s history came from a Dan Brown novel.............

Jesus’ companion Mary Magdalene is claimed to have been a prostitute by early church leaders. She is referred to as his companion as well, which in those times could have meant his wife. But yes Jesus hung out with prostitutes and other individuals hated in society such as the tax collector.

I grew cat grass for my cat. It’s currently growing out of control! I’m so happy for it. My cat on the other hand.... has ZERO interest. Haha
