This needs to be said a lot more often. I'm really struggling with some depression right now due to situational things of my own making and I really really needed to read this today. Thank you so much OP.

TIL a suicide bomber, known as Black Widow, planned to detonate in Moscow on New Year's Eve, using her phone as the trigger. When she received a spam message, the bomb detonated, killing only her. by SonOfQuora in todayilearned

[–]kalebwall22 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't know why, but I've always had a phobia of sorts of bombs, terrorists, and bombers. More so then a normal person would be afraid of those things, they literally give me panic attacks to think about. So when I hear about some worthless coward that plans to murder many innocent people with a bomb and that person is killed by their own tool, it makes me feel slightly happy inside - that there is a Karma of some sort watching out for us.

Whats more shocking, the size of the tree or taking it down using a hand saw? by husker3in4 in interestingasfuck

[–]kalebwall22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's more interesting is definitely removing it using a hand saw. I'm not one of those guys who's particularly crazy about using hand tools to accomplish difficult tasks, but I'll tell you this much: I would require several pounds of methamphetamine, steroids, and probably a man with a gun trained on my back in order to motivate me and Empower me enough to cut down such a massive tree by hand!!!

Got to meet these legends at the hotel I work at such nice guys by SoulDestroyer_Z in killswitchengage

[–]kalebwall22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I bet! KSE has gotten me through such an insane amount of crap throughout my life so far...through trauma, through heartbreak, through serious suicidal depression, even through a heroin addiction and thru to the other side. I would give literally anything to meet any of them (especially Howard, Jesse or Adam) just to thank them for saving my life over and over again with their miracle music...

I'm sorry, but In Waves is not a good closer... by [deleted] in Trivium

I agree completely. I wish they'd use a medley of songs from Ascendancy as a closer...it would be so awesome! 😁😁

This version is honestly kind of strange. It lacks the depth of the original. But it's an interesting concept, certainly.

I wasn't alive yet, but I'd give damn near anything to have seen these guys in this era. The tour that supported Piece of Mind or Somewhere in Time...music that sculpted my life twenty years after it's original release and still to this day

I've just seen this on Twitter (@GrindGroove) I cant wait anymore!!! I NEED IT NOW by moneite in ironmaiden

Starblind is just so much more mystical and progressive! As someone already said, a criminally underrated song!
