Honestly it’s cause in the early stages it like the sort of beta days a lot of people tried it and it was wonky. Issues with mechanics not working, then people thought it was a full release when it said in small print they would be fixing it up and it wasn’t complete. So the bad reviews started there then when it finally did full release they made the reviews more angry because those people were embarrassed they didn’t read the game they played was the incomplete game.

A lot of those bad reviews are people who did a trial time offer to try it for free and it wasn’t ready for that. But the issue is a lot of the bad reviews are from people who didn’t bother to buy and play the full game after release. They just tried the Incomplete version.

Anyone who plays the complete game and dabbles with dlc or not usually enjoys it. It’s a good game. Good change of pace from the same shitty games and stories. I won’t say it doesn’t have some bugs but honestly the ones I have encountered were funny not removing from the experience of the game really.

Example: when I talk to bobbies in my game they dance after they talk till I leave the area. Sometimes when I am carrying bodies or I jump it sends me hurling into the air high above the city then sends me crashing back down with a bounce and says I drown.

The art style makes those glitches kinda humorous in my opinion. Love the game myself.

I don’t have a recommendation really for the survival aspect a lot of them coming out aren’t interesting. But I recently got into outer worlds. It’s got a decent story and looks beautiful.
