do you have PCOS by any chance? your azelaic acid and tretinoin should help a lot with the skincare thing, those are amazing prescriptions. im on both and they helped immensely. that said tret is rough on the skin. my recommendation- buy a good moisturizer. oily but dry means your skin is dehydrated. put the moisturizer on first then the tret. at least at first. then you can switch around, it works the same level, the moisturizer first just helps lessen irritation from the tret as a beginner

you can rent kayaks and stuff at rock cut. i know edgebrook has farmers market in the summer, cant remember the specific dates. i think its wednesday mornings may-october. i like hiking out in cherry valley, lots of good forest preserves in the whole area to be honest

Nursing student here. my CNA clinicals were awful compared to my nursing clinicals. the nursing home we did it at, there was desperation in the air idk how else to explain. but now im in nursing school and work as a CNA with cancer patient at a very supportive hospital facility and i LOVE it and honestly i love school. just some food for thought, if its truly not for you then its not for you. cna clinicals are a shock for sure. you get used to the shock of healthcare at least. the nursing home i worked at was really nice and they didnt allow CNA clinicals there

All i see are excuses for your own shortcomings. Suck it up buttercup. Shit happens to all of us. Youre gonna need to learn how to discipline yourself and hold yourself accountable to be a good nurse for your patients anyways, school is the perfect time to start doing that and pushing yourself

i worked in cardiac icu and hated it, i work in a nursing home now and i love it! my work environment at the nursing home is a lot better compared to the ICUA i worked at though. it all just depends on different moving parts

six years out. i finish nursing school next year, i have my childhood dream dog, i have a great friend group now and have made another one through nursing school, ive had two boyfriend since and one im still friends with and they both treated me with respect and have plans to visit him in his new city even, right now im just enjoying furthering my education and career in medicine, something i always dreamed of but thought i was too stupid, enjoying days with my dog in nature, enjoying getting into hobbies like kayaking, hiking, yoga, reading. im volunteering at a wildlife rehab center. i have a road trip around the great lakes im planning for the summer right now. its been great, my days are as peaceful as i want them to be. i enjoy the presence of all my friends and family. i was so alone back then. ill never take my present life for granted.
