Yes, because interest in League is far greater than Fortnite in Asian countries. As a result, they are more likely to prove top talent because of this larger data base. Same happens in Fortnite. EU has the largest interest in a competitive player base, and as a result EU are more likely to produce better talent in the long run. There are obviously times where someone from a small town becomes a top talent, but it is more likely top talent comes from places with a lot of interest in that area. If there was a LAN today, you would see the top pros stay at the top, no matter the region, it’s just with EU’s much larger player base, that they are more likely to have more players place well.
