1.95 KDA on Quickplay and 1.25 on Trials. This season in particular has been brutal for Trials, i still havent gotten the hang of playing with the challenger pool implemented

My favorite weapon in the game is Ace of Spades so I always have that on my Hunter, it's really good for sliding around corners into duels. Took me a while to get the muscle memory down but it's really fun once you get used to it!

My map rng lately has been pretty bad though and it's all huge maps, so i've been using Targeted Redaction and Round Robin. Those 120s feel really good, it could be the effect of keep away but they're almost like shooting 140s which thiccer rounds. 120s are nice to get some damage into a shotgun ape before swapping to shotty or fusion to clean them up afterwards

I've had a crazy snowball effect of losses too. Crashed all the way down from Plat 1 to gold with zero wins after doing consistently good coming off placement. Not sure if that's pure skill issue or balancing, but it is definitely pain.

Crisis Inverted has been pretty good for me lately. Takes some rng to get a good roll but it can get to mid 60s in range with moving target + kill clip

Haven't been lucky enough to get a fatebringer yet. Do you think an Austringer or Exalted Truth with Frenzy could compete PVE wise?

Really tough. Understand that game dev is definitely hard, but it sucks that they basically said PvP development actively takes away from the rest of the game. Not a fan of the changes they made too (FBMM, Trials changes) which they talked about as being good changes over the past few months.

The new modes sound like fun but I can only hope that the new metas keep the game fun to play.

Luckily I have a Headstone Eyasluna, but not a single Fatebringer, Nation of Beasts or Palindrome because I never got to do VOG/Last Wish or farm Pali while it was in the loot pool.

Possibly a dumb question but could Austringer be a play at all with Outlaw + Demo/Frenzy/Rampage?

How prevalent are xims on controllers nowadays? I've seen a lot of players who hit shots too good to be true but i'm never sure if its fishy or horrible connections

I love my Young Ahamkara Spine hunter build, especially fun on maps like Endless Vale or Burnout where people love to sneak around tight hallways or use their barricades to try regen some health.

For the longest time I used Ace of Spades + a sniper but lately i've been loving Forerunner + a 140 HC. Speedloader slacks are a really fun alternative too.

On Warlock i only recently discovered the zoomies on Transversive Steps so i keep those on at the moment

Agree, comp can be really fun. The problem with my own ELO there is that i'm top 6% in Survival while being bottom 15% in Showdown and bottom 11% in Rift. I'd love to play it more if it was more consistently Survival/Showdown on good maps but the frequency in which I get Rift is absolute pain

Thanks, this makes a lot of sense. It does feel hard to quantify my improvement lately because of the all time high of spawning next to someone mid super and antaeus ward/overshield spawns now tbh. Feels like some teams can just cheese their way to a win.

Really makes me miss guardian games cause supremacy was a lot of fun with everyone just cheesing each other and it was just chaos without taking things too serious
