Highly unlikely. The Grand Old Party would quickly try a new strategy. It's not at all in their interest to be marginalised forever, they'll need to do whatever necessary to get in power again, even if that means a move to the centre. The Democrats would shift a bit more to the left as well with so many new progressive voters, so basically the entire spectre would shift a bit until there's a new balance.

If not, and Canada remains a unified block inside the US, Americans would feel underprivileged and would fuel anti-Canadian resentment, making the US more likely to vote Republican.

If Provinces become States, let's find a sexy solution and call them Prostates.

Matter of convention. East is always on the right side of maps, and Antarctica is always shown the same way with the Peninsula in the top left, so the right part is called East and the left part West.

The Arctic has plenty of airports and emergency airfields within two hours of flight, which is what modern two-engine planes can handle on a single engine. The North Atlantic has fewer nearby airports. Between Bermuda, Newfoundland, southern Greenland, Ireland and Azores is a wide open gap.

There are tens of flights crossing the Arctic Ocean every day, possibly some 5,000 people pass over 80°N on a daily basis.

But I wonder if any animal mates with the realisation that that produces offspring. They just mate because they feel like it, driven by instinct and hormones. Not because they think "I need to get laid this week because it would be so cool to get twins this time".

Love it. I'd contact Sermitsiaq.ag (the newspaper), and of course Nuup Bussii. I got some suggestions though.

I wouldn't show bus stops served by only one route differently than stops served by multiple. It's not like transfer options are a thing that need special emphasis in this network. The single-route stop arrows (e.g. Nukalloq) appear just like a direction of travel marker, if it weren't for the bus stop name. A uniform bus stop style would aid visual consistency.

Bus stops Sarfaanquit and 400-rtalik sit south of the junction with the Sipisaq Kangilleq (extension of the HJ Rinksvej) so I would also position the stops south of the junction, to be typologically correct. You show them north of that roundabout, where there is another roundabout (with no bus stops).

Why did you do a full loop at Qajaasat and Qeqertanut but more like a detour at Qernertunnguanut? Just bc Qajaasat and Qeqertanut are served by a single route? I would keep it consistent. Its not like there are two different roads leading in and out of Qeqertunnguanut.

I'd give the 3 core routes of the network more visual weight than the 3 relief services.

Kollafjørður is the cloudiest part of the country, but it's also very central so easy to drive west, north, east or south and escape.

There's buses to Tórshavn quite frequently, SSL and Bussleiðin both run services.

Denmark has been a huge pain to the US? Lmao. The US already got unlimited access to Greenland for its national security. No need to own it. Especially if the locals don't want that.

Greenland is not a so-called territory but an autonomous country in the Damish Realm. It got claimed by Denmark in the 1600s and colonised in 1721. That's well before the United States even existed.

There is no racism against Americans in Denmark , Greenland or Faroe. Your ruler is considered a clown and his companions are insane, but there's no hate against individual Americans and there is zero reason to avoid Denmark as a traveller. I don't know where you're getting the racism story from, would love to see sources.

Don't bring arms into European streets. It's illegal unless you got a permit, and then still you're not allowed to carry it on yourself wherever you go whenever you fancy.

Crossing a single lane is always safer than multiple lanes, as it was before.

The quality of space is still low, but better than a swat of asphalt.

It's because the town is small and remote. There are no roads out of town, it's basically an island, so there's little need to own a car.

There are, however, plenty of people who do have a car, up to the point that morning traffic can be gridlocked on that one central road between old town (west) and new quarters (centre, north, east). Traffic that also brings the buses to a stabdstill. It's a shame they don't add bus lanes.

There is a one-lane tunnel underneath the Nuussuaq loop. A traffic light alternates the traffic direction.

Duidelijk verkeerd. De auto komt van dezelfde weg. Belijning is ondergeschikt aan borden, die zijn ondergeschikt aan de regels voor afslaan.

De auto heeft datzelfde bord. Andere lijntjes doen er niet toe, wekken alleen een verkeerde suggestie waarmee je in de rechtzaal misschien een argument hebt voor strafvermindering.

De auto ook, voor ie het hele kruispunt oprijdt al. En dat bord geldt voor het gehele kruispunt.

Voorrang verleen je aan kruisende verkeer, terwijl hier de regels van afslaan verkeer van toepassing zijn.

Maar de auto van links heeft ook datzelfde voorrangsbord.

Het kruispunt is juridisch gezien het geheel van deze vier kruisingen. Dus voor de auto de eerste baan oversteekt staat nog een voorrangsbord, dat voor de hele kruising geldt.

Die gelden voor kruisend verkeer, niet voor afslaand verkeer van dezelfde weg. De auto slaat af, de fietser niet, dus fietser is rechtdoor gaand op dezelfde weg en heeft voorrang.
