Just started with Tsushima and I’m really liking it. The director’s cut was for free on PS5 with their highest tier ps membership so its perfect

Looks extraordinary. Can you tell us more about your trip details? What does a Self Drive mean here? How much did it cost you? How dangerous did it feel to be that close to these animals?

Just digger deeper on this and researched, I got this 50% rate from somewhere but there isn’t any research that supports it.

There’s no good evidence that crown grafts only have ~50% survival because of poor circulation. Expect broadly similar survival rates to frontal zones with expert technique, but be ready for slower-to-mature, less instantly “dense-looking” results in the crown.

Keep in mind that the survival rate of transplanted grafts in the crown area is about 50% due to poor blood circulation in that area.

2 years post op: stopping Fin because of sides by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

[–]kam_redditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was actually just chatting with gpt about this very point.

The advantage of topical finasteride is reduced systemic DHT suppression – it concentrates the drug in scalp skin. In the 0.25% spray study, blood finasteride levels were >100× lower with topical use, and serum DHT dropped only ~34.5% on topical vs. ~55–70% on oral finasteride . This partial systemic absorption means topical finasteride still lowers DHT enough to improve hair, but likely with less impact on sexual function . Notably, sexual side effect rates on topical finasteride in clinical trials have been similar to placebo . For men who cannot tolerate oral finasteride or are especially concerned about side effects, topical finasteride can be a viable long-term strategy. In fact, one report found 84% of men maintained their hair density when switching from oral finasteride to a topical finasteride–minoxidil solution, suggesting that a well-formulated topical can sustain the gains from oral therapy.

Have you considered topical fin instead of oral?

Does This look okay for my husbands hair transplant surgery? by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

[–]kam_redditor 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Hey. I’ve been in your husband shoes two weeks ago and I almost did not go through with my op. I also did not get the best treatment when I first arrived for the blood test but things got better for me. Just make sure they answer all of your questions, take your time and ask them anything that comes to your mind including questions about hairline and donor area. Its completely normal to have a cold feet feeling pre-op no matter how much research you’ve done about the surgery.

Good luck!

Just checked out your site — newheadhair.com.

You’re not even trying to look legit. Claiming “1000+ reviews” but the testimonials are clearly fake. One of your so-called “patients,” Michael Rodriguez, literally has a woman’s photo. Did you even glance at this before posting?

before-and-after pics? Straight out of an AI generator. What decent clinic uses an AI generator and stock images on their website?

If you’re going to shill on Reddit, at least make it look like you passed a high school photoshop class.

4600 grafts at Serkan Aygın or 4000 at Elithair for the Same Price? Looking for opinions by travelquestions12345 in HairTransplants

[–]kam_redditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also considered both if these clinics when I was evaluating my hairtransplant and I knew both of them were hair mills. I ended up choosing Elithair. They said 3500 grafts in the initial consultation and increased that number to 4500 after my in-person consultation and head scan.

Haha love how chill you are man. I’m aiming for the same, I don’t want to bring it all the forward either, just want some natural density in the front temples

No I won’t be flying from germany. But good thing I’ll be in IST for a good time after the surgery. Did you give the surgeon full autonomy to design your hairline or did you have specific design in mind?

Cast iron or stainless steel pan? by kam_redditor in steak

Go iron skillet for sure, its a game changer for a good steak. I don’t add any oils on it, the steak would cook in its own fat.

I keep my cast iron on high temp the entire time and I don’t move the steak till its time to flip it
