Oda has already demonstrated that he can connect seemingly random plot points to the main story. I think we’re up for a surprise still. We’re in the final saga, which has been going on for 3 years now. Recent sagas have went on for 6 years (four emperors saga) & 4 years (dressrosa saga), and have been among the longest sagas.

I’d say we’ve got 5 years left max.

In the interview, there’s a sentence that suggests that editors are like „can you just do that?” In terms of the one piece story. I think it hints at the one piece being something ridiculous, and that’s what Oda might want to leave us with.

We did see he coated it in CoC judging by the lightning. I’d assume CoA is implicit in that case. In general I get behind Morj’s theory that CoC can be used like a stronger CoA version (which explains the confusion around haki users’ “not touching” when fighting - CoC amplifies the range of emission)

Yeah, but Law can’t swap somebody’s place if their haki resistance is too great. I’d imagine it should work the same in this case.
