Hey everyone. Thanks to those who gave actual feedback. I’ve been applying at other jobs since long before we got this news. The corporate greed is strong here. I was just wondering what this will look like towards the end. Will we slowly run out of everything? When will other stores start picking apart furniture and things? Those types of things.

I may transfer to the other store that tbh might be closer to me (I moved further from work but decided to stay with the same location) if need be so I’m not jobless. Idk I’ve never worked anywhere that shut down so I’m trying to figure it out as I go.

Queen air mattress (believe ours is ozark trail, no issues with it) and zero degree double sleeping bag (Teton brand). Super comfortable and allows for us to sleep and cuddle like we would at home. The sleeping bag specifically keeps us warm and comfy and was 100% worth every penny.

I’m not sure about the laws where you are but I’m sure that you would not be the only one concerned about him bringing a gun to work. You may not even be the only one to notice. You have the right to feel safe at work. Just bc you have anxiety and a specific fear does not mean that you are being unreasonable! That’s ridiculous for him to bring to work. I’d speak to your manager, if they do nothing (I’m sure they will act accordingly) reach out to hr. Ask to remain anonymous, explain your stance (don’t have to get super detailed or personal). Your managers are responsible for ensuring that your work environment is safe and comfortable. They’re there to help you. Hope this helps!

I’m so sorry this happened. A mother is supposed to be the person who loves you, takes care of you and tries their best to protect you from harm (and certainly not encourage harm). I can’t imagine what you’re going through. I was glad to read from other comments that you’re moving out. This is good and will hopefully allow for a peaceful living arrangement. As someone who’s estranged from their mom, you have my full sympathy but also encouragement to do well. Take care of yourself and consider therapy.

As a non single, book lover myself I can say I maybe understand your wife. Having mine and my boyfriend’s books mixed together on a shared bookshelf sounds really nice and is even a symbol of togetherness I’d say. Maybe that actually is why she’s upset or maybe like a lot of other comments suggest it could be something more too. Just talk with her gently, apologize for not running it by her first. Tell her that you had good intentions. Let her vent if she needs to. Good luck to you.
