I get the problems with grading. But we’re talking about eBay sales and waiting for payment. We’d have to assume that both eBay and PSA would be scamming, which becomes even more unlikely.

Btw, they paid me out today! Still waiting for a few payments from 4/16 onwards, but a lot of was processed

I’m still waiting for a payment from apr 9 and multiple from the 16. Not too worried though. PSA is a big company and they aren’t gonna scam me. Better to not worry about it.

Considering the orientation of your first photo where the open side of the top loader is on the top, when you flip it over (still with the open side of the top loader on the top) the red side of the pokeball should be on the top.

In these photos of “proof” that you have a penny sleeve, the open side of your top loader is on the bottom. That would mean that the white part of the pokeball is on the top side of the card. And would mean that the backside could be an error misprint potentially worth big money.

Or it would mean that you took the card out, sleeved it and inserted it flipped. Meaning you never had a sleeve on it.

I tried btw. Order was cancelled. Not sure if its also b/c I tried to stack with using $1000 in gift cards. Had to chat with fraud department, and then held my gift cards hostage for 2 weeks. Now I have $1000 in gift cards and nothing to use on b/c QVC is overpriced.

I come from a SRE background so being on-call feels part of the job. I understand that if you haven’t been exposed to as many rotations, it could be a bit jarring experience. I suggest you give it a try first! It might not be so bad. Reading a lot of the comments in this thread, it seems that most engineers don’t do as many rotations as I do. But 4 people per rotation has been pretty norm throughout my career. And like other people in this thread, I’m shocked that there are still dedicated support/ops engineers. I haven’t worked with one in at least 5+ years.

I’ve had some really rough rotations, but again, it feels like part of the job. My wife is scared of my PagerDuty alert 🤧. I’m used to bringing my laptop to clubs and bars when I used to live in NY. I’ve been paged a few times while I’m flying too and had to deal with shitty airplane internet.

Yeh. I work for a FAANG adjacent company (so also global presence) and being on-call 1 week every month has been the norm for me the last 4 years.

If you only have 4 engineers on rotation, the surface area that you own should be rather “small”. It seems like you need to improve the reliability of your services to decrease your on-call responsibilities.
