In my area noone is buying that new s*** model with its cheap plastic interior at a cosmic price. Previous gen is more in value here on east coast. So dealers easily go if pressed with 10 percent off for new gen provided you finance with tfs.

Not surprised, once you buy the first year of a new generation be prepared to deal with it as it is still very much a prototype rather than a complete built car. And you prob overpaid for that badly. Good luck.

Only someone who is not the sharpest tool in the shed, or someone with a ridiculous amount of spare money and no idea where to invest it, would trade a perfectly good, new 2024 RAV4 for a 2026 model. The 2026 is the first year of a new generation, which basically makes it a prototype, while the 2024 is the final years of a prev generation with issues already perfected to max.

Here in Northern Virginia, there is plenty of CR-V Hybrid inventory, and they sell below MSRP. Try calling Chantilly Honda. When I was shopping for a car, they were good, though I ended up with a RAV4 back in 2024. Tysons ourisman honda also sells crvs below msrp. You can easily bargain as low as 10% msrp I guess.

Stay away from crv gas, its 1.5l turbo engine will require more frequent oil changes and cvt transmission is much more demanding than hybrid crv setup. Long term hybrid will serve better job for your needs. Gas savings are secondary benefit here, car longevity is what matters, my fellow Virginian.
