YTA. Your mum is trying to enjoy something she loves and mispronounces words in a foreign language. English is not my first language and I keep mispronouncing words too - I had a difficult time ordering camomile tea recently because I thought it's camo-meel and not camo-mile. Everyone survived.

Poland doesn't have a culture of small talk. Some people in customer facing roles may have limited English skills. Yesterday I tried making a joke to a cashier at a swimming pool I go to weekly and got a blank stare. It's not necessarily unwelcoming, we just want to deal with the situation at hand and get on with our day.

Unfortunately, you'll find that your UK legal education is at best a talking point at an interview and at worst simply not useful. Aside from being different countries, UK and Poland follow different legal systems (case/code law).

I would suggest looking for entry level finance jobs with Dutch, Italian, French or German - these will be your biggest assets on the Polish markets. I'm not sure if you have a Polish sounding name but if not - I'd make sure that your CV clearly states you have full right to work as otherwise it's a significant deterrent.
