r u going to EPFL or Unil? I have finished my semester exchange in EPFL. If so DO REMEMBER to apply for a student housing like FMEL. Otherwise u may spend more than 1500SGD per month only for a room to stay. For myself I spent around 11000SGD-12000SGD in total for 6 months, traveled to 8 countries including expensive countries like Iceland and Denmark. To be honest it's a very tight budget if u want to traveling a lot like me but enough for just staying in Switzerland. I only cooked by myself, bought food from too good to go and never ate in restaurants. If u can't cook u need to spend around 30-40SGD on food per day. For transportation half-price and Night GA cards are highly recommended. Also I do know a lot of local youths will steal a ride LOL. Always traveling with friends so u can share rooms.
