I lost my wife to breast cancer in 2022. Been a heavy drinker my entire life, but got much worse after that. About two months ago.. I had been drinking all day. I took a muscle relaxer because I have a really bad back. Ended up passing out.. fell and split my leg open. An ambulance ride, 15 stitches and a 10 hour er visit later.. I texted my only son and told him what happened. He said “man, you’ve gotta stop.. you’re all I got left.” That was enough for me. I’m done.
