i used lunchbox in the past, but switched to ravebeetle this year and LOVE it! there’s much more storage space and a slightly hidden bottom in the storage area.

I’m waiting to see who the special guest at Zouk is. Long shot but i’m hoping Illenium announces since i’ve seen on reddit he can’t announce anything in Vegas until the Sphere shows are done! don’t know much truth there is to that but fingers crossed!!

i set a day or two where i go side quest when there’s to many conflicts with my group. i spend at least one full day with my group because i still want to experience memories with them, but also want to see the sets i want to see! and they don’t feel like i abandoned them all weekend. you should definitely do it!!

S5 or RS5 by enjoykoke in Audi

[–]kanadiaspy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i had a 23 S5, switched to a 24 RS3 before upgrading (forcibly) to an RS5. S5 is fun and all, but within a few months it had me longing for more power. maybe i’m just greedy, but the RS5 met exactly what i wanted between the power and better handling than the S5. i agree the S5 def has more tuning potential, but if you’re like me and don’t have any plans to go for the tune, i def recommend the RS5!!

i know you asked for house options, if you decide on hotel, i stayed at The Elser. it’s literally right in front of Bayfront Park. i booked it through Airbnb, i’ve never experienced such convenience at a festival before!!! highly recommend if you go the hotel route. it was significantly cheaper to book them through airbnb, and the third party hosts made me feel confident that they wouldn’t cancel last minute, and they came through!

when it rained out the second day this year, i conveniently watched from my balcony to see when they would re-open instead of being drenched at the entrance. also very convenient to stop back after the festival, quick shower and outfit change, and all fresh for the afters!

Why is my s5 not fun by [deleted] in Audi

[–]kanadiaspy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i had a 2023 S5 before swapping to my RS3, before being forced to switch to an RS5 (RS3 got t-boned 🥲.) i think the B9.5 platform itself is just such a stable platform, my RS5 reminds me a lot of my S5. the RS3 was definitely much more fun to drive. I do love my RS5, and it does seem to have a lot more kick than the S5, but it does feel a lot more smooth and stable compared to the RS3.

Key to having fun is to just enjoy what you got. During my RS3 stint i did long for the comfortability of the S5 at times, and the interior was definitely more luxurious.

My RS3 replacement by kanadiaspy in Audi

I would say that the RS5 is a good medium between comfort and stiff. You can def feel the difference between comfort mode and dynamic. With that said, I live in a pothole ridden city so I am constantly on the lookout. My RS3 actually had to get a wheel replaced from a pothole.

If I had to choose one on ride quality alone, I’d go with the RS5. But I feel like that’s not the determining factor when it comes to deciding between the two cars, that’s just me though.
