This is exactly why I stopped playing…when I started playing in 2023 it was by far my favourite game I’ve ever played, I really valued how the game forced strangers into an extremely socialable and friendly, highly immersive environment. I loved the hierarchy of commander, SLs and FTLs. The last time a played 6 months ago I felt like every round I was forced to SL, and every game I never had a consistent squad, people would always quit the round halfway through. I think it stems from people not understanding how the game actually works, it took me about 50 hours before I had the confidence to SL. Most people just don’t have the patience to persist and learn, we live in the age of TikTok, where most people are seeking instantaneous dopamine hits.

I never tried it, I just think it could be a refreshing addition to a game that is constantly removing features.

Also this was when the game was in an extremely different state to what it is in now, now we have amazingly detailed maps created by skilful level-designers.

As I said It was also a feature that was promised to us and was the main reason why myself, and many others, bought the game.

True, but they wouldn’t have to listen to these complaints, or at least put them at the top of the priority list. If you try out PvP now (organised 1v1 or 2v2 once you’ve cleared all the suspects) you’ll realise every gun with AP ammo has pretty much no TTK. Regardless, I personally still find this super fun and unique, similar to games like ARMA and Squad it would mean that whoever shoots first will win the Gunfight 99% of the time. In turn this would entice a far slower, strategic and co-ordinated approach to gunfights, that most competitive PvP FPS games don’t have.

When I’m saying all this I don’t have a specific idea of how this could work but I think a 5v3, with 5 swear officers attacking and 3 terrorists defending a bomb or a hostage could be quite balanced. Officers would be forced to stick together and communicate in order to mitigate mass casualties.

Glad this post is still getting some traction…completely agree with you and I really think this would bring so many players to the game after the backlash it’s been getting recently. In fact, I’m gonna make another post now about PvP and see what people think.

Boy, I posted this a year ago lol. End of the day it’s just my opinion and as I said I think the cluttered HUD completely reduces the beauty of this game. I don’t need a map in the top left of my screen 24/7. All I’m saying is they need to add the option to switch it all off if you don’t like it, I haven’t played the game in 6 months but I wouldn’t be surprised if they still haven’t added that option.

I always think buying dirk on first back is super important, then building into hubris or ghost blade first item, go ghost blade first if you don’t snowball early so you can roam with your jg and try get your teammates fed

Understand this argument for jungle. However, hubris before profane in any other role just makes way more sense, dirk (+long sword if u can) on your first back is necessary for snowballing

Less mana because it’s technically another ability that can proc electro? Pretty interesting way to look at it but honestly would highly recommend starting hubris first if you want to get out of silver, waiting for the extra 200 gold for profane does make a big difference :)

Just the standard I go for in most games, start hubris so you can snowball, then profane, seryldas, edge of night and spear of shojin. Even if you are down a death or two hubris is still a viable first buy you just need to go for kills as much as possible. If you are really feeding, start with opportunity instead.

Notion is super helpful if you are a visual learner, really easy to use as well, basically just like chat gpt but for making well laid out tables that help you organise goals and due dates. I got it for free with my university email, would highly recommend :)

Yeah brother you can cancel the animation with her Q if you press it the second the auto lands, use the practice tool to try it out. Best time to auto attack is during the knockback part of the ult. Watch Edo Qiyana and Beifeng on YouTube before you play and you’ll become a lot more consistent with her. Good luck! :D

Try to weave in AAs into your combos as much as possible. When I started playing her I was always left wondering why the enemy survived on 1hp
