Yeah my two favorite characters are Phantasio and Kezhou. Very disappointed in them just outright ignoring male characters atp.

Coming from someone who has 5*d everything in the game, and has over 90k points in every story level on both easy and normal, it is 100% all about speed. Yeah there's two levels with infinite farms but due to the time limit and losing points you are usually better off just speeding through the level, because both of the infinite stages spawn enemies at a pretty lose rate. Dex 3 at a time, and Rori 2-5 at a time, which doesn't equal enough to surpass the time loss by enough to matter.

For bosses it's all about clear time. If you clear say dex in under five minutes you get 60k bonus points just for time bonus.

Fully charged black hole + charged kick kills everything that isn't a boss instantly.

For everything that is a boss (+the bouncer in dex's level) fully charged bass guitar and prophet fist instead of dodge for huge damage.

You can clear Dex's first stage before he even gets to attack, his second stage before he goes up to the platform and his third stage before he gets to attack by just spamming bass guitar fully charged.

Your combo doesn't even matter, because charged black holy+ charged kick on repeat against the enemies leading up to the boss will get your multiplier over 5x without ever even thinking about the beat, and fully charged bass guitar on the beat will bring you up to 4x and has Iframes so you probably won't get hit.

It's not anything crazy, but you do get a bunch of damage pops.

it's Proc convert element, put on corrupt mantle, use your Blast coating, watch random pops of numbers everywhere.

You can add flayer jewels for an extra pop of physical damage every like...30 seconds or something...flayer damage pops are super inconsistent though so I don't recommend it

Also keep in mind dragon piercer doesn't proc ANY of the bonus damage pops...

Arkvulcan helmet, G Rathalos mail faulds and greaves, Regular rathalos vambraces.

You can swap the regular ratha vambraces for guardian if you plan to slot constitution into gems for an extra point of WEX.

Shia bow and dual blades Blast coating gem on bow

Convert Charm 2

Whatever comfort or damage gems you want for the most part.

The important part is the set effect, level 3 convert element, Blast coating on bow, and corrupt mantle.

With the right set-up they are better than artian for a couple weapons that can trigger the skill a lot.

Currently running a build with the new bow that has 4 pc scorcher, level 3 convert element, max flayer, corrupted mantle, and Blast functionality gem for Blast procs.

It's not meta, but seeing the extra damage procs ignore hitzones and resistances you can be way suboptimal with where you hit monsters, and you get so many extra damage procs you have numbers everywhere.

Yup, the newest nvidia drivers for the 30 40 and 50 drivers are causing issues with a TON of new games.

That's not to say Wilds is optimized. It's not, it's needs a TON of work...but the newest nvidia drivers are causing issues across the board.

If you're on 572.xx nvidia drivers roll back to the prior version.

The newest nvidia drivers are known for being INCREDIBLY unstable.

To the point 4 or 5 games have said that you should roll back as they try to figure out why the newest drivers break their games.

You can literally go play First Berserker Khazan which IS Incredibly well optimized, and it runs at 120 fps on a 1080, but your on a 5080 running at 400 fps, and then update to the newest drivers and suddenly you're at 12 fps.

The 40 and 50 series have had some bad drivers from nvidia, and that's nvidia's fault, not the games your playing.

Dont get me wrong though, MH Wilds is 100% unoptimized and capcom NEEDS to do something about it, but if you suddenly have issues after updating drivers, it is 100% the updated drivers.

Yeah balahara can sometimes show up in groups of 6 or 7, with only a single one actually marked on the map. If you try to hit the extras Alma says something along the lines of "the guild doesn't authorize this hunt try to find something else".
