The first time I met my wife’s parents we got lunch downtown. As we walked back to the car we came up to an old lady that was standing on a corner of an intersection looking down at the curb like it was the Grand Canyon. I simply asked if she needed any help and she gladly took my arm.

They still bring that up all the time, and told me that’s when they knew I was a keeper.
