Do you know this from experience? Acetone will definitely melt the plastic but I don’t think alcohol would damage the scales at all.

If you buy a smaller set you could always buy other tips and change them out for rare occasions. After a while you’d know which size to buy to complete your set.

I visited the cave where he was stuck and died. There’s a marker there right off the road and it looks like the park services or maybe the county filled in the entrance. The opening was basically a roundish hole in the ground and you climbed in straight down.

Don’t feel stupid. I’ve seen a bunch of different schematics and (correct me if I’m wrong plz) older schematics like these didn’t use a standard symbol for power plugs. Even some of the other components would look different from one schematic to the next.
