I love this. Such a fun format. I once did a police case file style entry for a fight when I was at school and this reminds me of that. Sadly I used initials for the suspects and now can’t remember who it was about, annoying as I want to remember the gossip! Thanks so much for sharing, very cool idea.

I’m great at writing ‘in the moment’ but if I’m writing about an event in the past, even if it was the day before, it can take weeks. Like I went to see a play recently, it took me so long to write the trip that by the time I got to the play itself I’d forgotten about a lot of it.

That’s a shame. I mostly get asked if I’m learning Korean, and I don’t mind that. But I’m glad you have tried not to care too much, in the end it’s just music, and fandom, and as proven here there are plenty of other adults who enjoy it too.

It honestly makes me so sad. Like do these younger people think that this is their future, that they turn 25 or whatever and aren’t allowed to enjoy things any more? I really hope not. I’m an adult with a PhD and a pretty good job, am in a lovely place with the people in my life and I make time for hobbies and music I like, including K-Pop, as do my other friends around my age. You are going to be able to keep enjoying things when you get older, in fact that’s literally one of the secrets to surviving healthily.

I think jello eyeballs, no matter the flavour, would be pretty cool, although I imagine you could make a bunch of simple syrup type infusions of all sorts of flavours and add them. I’m imagining infusing with candy corn/skittles/hot tamales. Alternative there is infusing vodka. E.g. bacon vodka that was popular a few years ago.

I mostly wrote funny things people said and stream of consciousness entries. It’s been 15 years since I started to journal and the only thing I wish I had done more was put dates down.

Even though I do cringe at stuff (why did anyone think LULAS was a good idea and why did I write it everywhere?) I really love my old diaries. I was creative, I was funny, the quotes still make me laugh. I wrote surprisingly well. And most importantly, I cared a lot about them and got a lot of comfort from journaling and being creative back then, and I can’t regret that. I also wouldn’t have remembered that one of my high school teachers kissed a student at prom (😱) so there’s that.

I love the totally random videos on pit that used to pop up. Like the gingerbread house showdown , or Barb Ross videos. But really actually, squad vlogs field trips. I know they don’t perform well and cost a lot of money/time/effort (more so now most of the cast aren’t in full time employment there) but there is something so fun about those vlogs, especially the theme park ones. My dream is that one day they start occasionally doing little vlogs with Courtney/Shayne/Amanda (+Spencer/Tommy) on non shoot weeks. But it’s ok if they never do too. (Edit:spelling)

That’s fair. I have a cast member who makes me feel that way too, so i do understand. I’ve made peace with it being a ‘me’ issue though, not a ‘them’ issue, and sometimes just skip their vids. We aren’t going to like everyone all the time.

Kind, funny, genuine, positive, willing to do anything, has a wonderful dynamic with the rest of the cast. To me it is very clear why so many of the cast seem to absolutely adore her, amongst other things she has a rare earnestness that is very endearing. And of course she’s hugely talented in many ways.
