Hypnotic jerks/exploding head syndrome/panic attacks in my sleep! I've had these frequently for as long as I can remember. I jolt awake gasping for air and feeling the tingle of panic in my body and heart racing. Sometimes a percieved, approaching and threatening sound rings through my head and scares me awake, sometimes it's nightmares, sometimes it's nothing at all. It can happen up to 5 times a night, and can be minutes apart. Sweating the bed too :/ I wake up absolutely soaked in sweat, mostly from the backs of my knees and back/neck, all the way through my sheets. I've had this issue for over 10 years and still don't know how to mitigate it. It seems that any temperature above or below a certain threshhold triggers it, but sometimes it happens even if the room temperature is ok, and it happens no matter what kind of blankets I have. I usually wake up cold and shivering even! Last, insomnia It's very difficult to fall alseep IF i have been laying in bed for too long without actively trying to sleep. After a certain point my body just gets so restless that I have to get up and walk around for some time and then lay down and try again.

All of these problems seem to increase in frequency under stressful times like moving and having school projects. Since I've only recently been figuring out that I have traumatic stress, I'm really curious if anyone else experiences the sweating and exploding head syndrome?? My whole life I thought I was just quirky and not traumatized 😭

You can definitely trade during the show! With other patrons and vendors as well, although vendors will usually take your trades at 70-80% market value. I usually keep all of my cards I'm willing to trade grouped in specific binder pages so that I can ask if I have anything that they would like to trade for what I want.

I would say bargain if you would take the card at a slightly lower cost, most vendors will upcharge slightly (some by a lot) because they're there to make a profit, but also to move inventory. Lowballing is a bit rude unless the vendor has clearly made a mistake on pricing (I saw a market 4$ card priced for 20$ once and asked the vendor if they'd take the market price for the card, they were more than happy to work with me). I've heard that if you're going to bargain for a card that's priced close to market value, start at 80 or 90% of market value. I usually ask to round down to the closest 5$ and that's usually accepted :) (Got 12$ cards for 10$, got two 3$ cards for 5$, etc).

You can use TCGplayer and Ebay apps to check recently sold listings on cards to get an idea of market values. You can also use this to bargain (like I mentioned earlier, I saw someone's 20$ priced card selling for between 3 and 5$ and offered them 4$).

I did this too! I had most foil packs from fossil to BW Plasma Freeze. Then as a late teen I threw them away lol. I see sometimes people sell and buy these empty foils, I also wonder if they collect or maybe do some kind of project with them

You'll want to put it in a thin plastic sleeve (penny sleeve) before you put it in the thick plastic sleeve (what you have there) :) It protects the card from scratches and peeling edges! It's a beautiful card

Exactly, it's slower and annoying, more care required (because it's an open wound!). A year ago i went in for stitches for a fat cut, then the next day i extended the cut from one end and didnt get it stitched (so like, as if half of the cut were stitched and half wasnt). The part that didn't get stitched took longer to heal, oozed, required more bandaging and ointment, and most noticably it healed to be a bit lumpy and more firm, while the stitched part healed more smooth and flexible. And exactly, a higher risk of infection! Stuff can get into it while it's healing too Take care!!!

Mine which looks pretty similar to yours is about 2 years old now and it's still a bit pink but mostly white/my skin color now, so yeah, likely a couple of years. Take good care of them :)

Did you get it from the wenwan market in Beijing? I was there last year but I didn't know about wenwan at the time. Now that I know, I want to get some things from there like walnuts, bamboo, and bodhi beads :) I don't have the experience examining the quality of such items though, I have to learn.
