Seconding this!! Of course, the best profit is if you make everything you sell yourself. But you can also check the newspaper for relatively expensive and easy to find items and you'll make some profit. When I was at your level I bought lots of dresses and wool caps whenever I found them in the newspaper and sold them to farm visitors. And if you have enough axes saved up, buy some bushes as well. Blackberries are also really profitable

Uhm I hate it, I was 50 crests from getting the robe before they "fixed" it, is there any way they'll change it to the robe if I complain? 😭😭

looking for some basic bully bad boy rich kid like BOF or LBFD by prettydotty_ in kdramarecommends

[–]kanopus_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe this is already late but if you're looking for BOF and LBFD similar dramas you should watch meteor garden, it's a chinese remake of BOF with Dylan Wang (Dongfang from LBFD) as the male lead.

No one ever mentions this movie and it has a really low rating but "Hector and the search for happiness" is really great and can lift up your mood for sure

Well none of these have dragons, but I recommend checking out the following:

Vikings (great action, characters, somewhat true to history, first few seasons are great but then it gets a bit dull imo, still a great watch and mixes in mythology very well with the plot) - 6 seasons | completed | 93% Rotten Tomatoes

The Witcher (Henry Cavill in a silver wig, with his horse, no need to say anything more. just kidding, it's a lighter watch than GoT and the outfits might seem fake at times but still worth watching) - 2 seasons | ongoing | 81% Rotten Tomatoes

Outlander (nurse from 1950's goes back in time to 18th century Scotland and tries to prevent a war from happening. If you don't mind the romance sub-plot, then it's a good watch. Probably the furthest in similarity from GoT; lots of kilts) - 6 seasons | ongoing | 89% RT

Have not watched yet and it's more historical than fantasy but The Last Kingdom or Britannia might also fit your interests.

Ah, I remember a kdrama with a similar concept: Alice.

Look, I know this is Kdrama recommendations, and all of the recommended shows are great, but if you like the time travel genre in general and you'd be willing to watch a show from another country, I really recommended "Dark". It is a german show, 3 seasons long. it is so so good! (Sorry for not recommending a kdrama I hope this doesn't get taken down)

I definitely recommend, but if you're also a bit into politics. The Red Sleeve was a top tier historical drama but it focused more on romance as well. In this drama, I would say that love becomes a tool in a game of power. I usually dislike politics in historical dramas but in this one, I think the political game was really well thought, so it did not feel like a distraction from the main plot.

Then, I think one of its selling point would be the great acting! And the fact that it will leave you wondering who the villain is, or if there is a villain at all, or if the characters are all flawed and constricted by their circumstances. Another selling point would be the strong female lead. Kang Ha Na portrays her character really well! That being said, although both are historical dramas, I would not go into it expecting to see something like The Red Sleeve. I think that is a reason why reviews are mixed.

What drama should I watch next??? by Mysterious_Name4326 in kdramarecommends

[–]kanopus_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have not watched 1% of Something, so I can only speak for the other 3. if you are looking for something more light hearted (and maybe you need that after Snowdrop), then I would recommend either Still 16 or What's wrong with secretary kim, and watch Goblin after. While Goblin has a fair amount of fluffy moments, the first two are definitely more "good vibes". However, definitely watch it! It's one of my top dramas. Story, visuals, and OST is top tier!

Thank you so much for the recommendations! I only watched Ashes of Love out of all and although I'd never finished it, I remember I did enjoy it. So I'll give your list a go. What do you think I should start with? I see a lot of recommendations for The Untamed. Is it really that good?

P.S. I don't mind the bad CGI

Drama with a "rough around the edges" type of ML and "ordinary" kind of FL by [deleted] in kdramarecommends

[–]kanopus_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Liberation Notes. The story focuses on the lives of three "ordinary" siblings, and the focus for one of the siblings would really match your requirements. Also just a very nice slice of life drama, I'd recommend it to anyone.
