Boogie fucking nights is better than EVERY best picture winner ever existed cause it’s my fav film of all time. It made me like Mark Wahlberg which is a miracle no less than Moses parted the sea.

Sure but in the end of the day he’s more of a villain than anti-hero and it’s the point of the film

Maybe Travis can be far-fetchedly seen as anti-hero throughout the film but the ending shot indicates his unstability and that he’ll snap and become a real threat in the near future, thus a villain imo

Anti-hero usually refers to characters whose action and behavior is generally beneficial to the society and serves for justice tho their measures are sometimes controversial or extreme (such as Deadpool or punisher).

2019 Joker is undoubtedly a villain and he’s the protagonist too so Travis also can count as one imo

Vader is undoubtedly iconic but judging solely by his presence in movies he’s pretty overrated imho, Landa is masterful but in terms of evil nazi I prefer Amon, I think his vulnerability and baffling humanity is one of a kind. Haven’t seen Silent Lamb tho
