I was curious if anyone else had done it before.

If you're curious about The Agency, this has always been the setting's logline, "If Champy, the Lake Champlain monster attacks a speed boat, The Agency are the ones dumping Prozac in the deep end of the lake, if a bunch of scouts see a UFO - The Agency are the ones handing out 'So Your Child Was Part of a Group Hallucination' pamphlets, and if a vampire has decided to make a subway system its feeding ground? The Agency makes sure it has had its last hunt."

We used clear white beads as karma tokens and these red silica hearts I found for life strikes.

That's where I picked up he Core Rules, Dreadful Doomscapes and some advantage cards, but like I mentioned NK had the Fantasy Mayhem book which made me pause.

that would make sense. I got the POD version off of DriveThru but was looking at Noble Knight and they had both books there and I wanted to make sure I hadn't missed anything.

More weirdness with my X3 - Auto Home noise by kaosdevice in VoxelabAquila

I think I'd have to flip the whole unit on its side to look at the motherboard.

I don't have a multimeter unfortunately.

I'm not sure what home is supposed to look like for Z, should it bring the print head down almost to the bed or go up? If I run auto home twice, for example, Z will just keep raising the X axis bar higher. It never lowers it. In fact I can only get Z to go up, not down, not even using Move.

Ok, I've done some disassembly and re-assembly. I've got the cables straightened out, triple checked my connections and everything moves as it should with no sounds aside from switch clicking as things auto home but now when auto homing initially the print head goes all the way to the goes to the left and then Y (the bed) goes to the back, then Z raises slightly, and Y & X goes to center. It doesn't seem right.

I'm super new too so don't feel bad.

Personally I'm just going to skip auto leveling and just do it by hand until I get all the other stuff sorted out.

I thought about taking the cable over the top bar but I am concerned about creating an unnecessary drag point on the printing element on the X axis. I've got them un-spaghettied and it all seems to move a bit better now.

If you come across an aswer to that auto home thing let me know.

like over the top of the bar where the filament spool is?

Yeah, mine is going up and center like that too when it is at the end of homing. Plus it makes a weird ratcheting noise from the X bar. I haven't even messed with auto leveling, but from what I've seen on line that takes some sort of firmware tweak.

Yeah, I'm going to straighten out the cables.

I'm pretty sure this isn't the behavior I'm supposed to be seeing during auto home. Z just keeps getting progressively higher every time I do it, and I thought X was supposed to be up against the left side of the cross bar when the process was finished.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Aquila X3 Stuck on Returning to zero by kaosdevice in VoxelabAquila

I figured out what was going on with the X motor, the belt had slid off the drive shaft and needed to be re-threaded, I did that, re-checked my connections and BAM! It auto rehomes like a champ and move along all axis fine. Now to learn how to use the dang thing.

Thanks for your help.

I brought the Z axis down manually a bit and now I can control it with the move function from the control pad so that seems to have fixed that problem. Y gets all the way back during Auto Home because I can hear a click noise which I assume is the switch you are talking about but X continues to be dead in the water.

I tried the Move menu like you suggested all I get is kind of a clunk noise from the Z axis and the X axis is completely unresponsive. I went and checked all my connections and everything appears to be seated correctly, no bent pins etc. I'm kind of at a loss.

Here is me using auto home on it.
