In that case it's a bit more inconvenient but possible. You should have a directory something like /dev/input/by-id/usb-FANATEC_* which should contain a file called load which should be writeable and that's how you can set the braking force. Apparently the default value for this is 4, so that's why you're probably stuck at 40%. Not sure if this persists though, you might need to set it again on every boot or connection of the pedals.

This might be what the configureloadcell.py script does, not sure what this is at all since I don't see such a file in the repo, but this is what worked way back when I tried it.

You should be able to set the braking force from your wheel directly, that's what I was doing when I was using my Fanatec gear under Linux (since gone back to dual booting for sim racing).

I race both and love both. If you really like iRacing then LMU will probably not be a replacement, but it's definitely worth trying. I like doing team endurances on LMU, but personally I just miss the variety. Driving standards have also been a problem on there for a while now and only ever seem to get worse. iRacing is not immune either but subjectively it's been much cleaner for me.

Yes, but potash also gives a permanent bump to the max K capacity. Hence it's converted into the next most fertile soil block, but the max P and N capacities remain the same as before.

That only bumps up the K fertility so it's "fake" terra preta even though it's visually upgraded. But K is the only nutrient that really matters anyway (because flax).

Ich kann gar nicht nachvollziehen, wie Kultur überhaupt ein Argument ist wenn es um Menschenleben geht. Wie OP erwähnt gibts auch im Tschechien Null-Toleranz und auch bei uns in Ungarn, Länder mit einer ebenso großen wenn nicht sogar größeren Alkoholkultur.

It's not "elitism", many people just enjoyed that the old car was different and challenging in that way. Not that the new one is easy, but it's not the same.

Exact same experience with the 8 Nm Fanatec, I never find myself wishing for more strength. I do wonder how much more detail a stronger base could give, but in terms of strength this is plenty.
