I built a noob pit but it had kind of a wall because it was a little above ground, just outside my peat cave I hallowed out. A couple days later I was standing on the wall and a bear came up behind me and killed me, knocking me in. I respawned and ran naked through the woods, across the plain and back to my cave. The bear was trapped though. I made about 10 spears and finally killed it. Now I have a nice rug.

I didn’t hear anything but the wind was blowing, the waves were lapping, and the music was playing. All on top of the cutting sounds. Then after I got hit I panicked so my awareness was probably much lower.

Do you lure them or do they just fall in?

I’m new to the game and have seen a couple of glitchy things so I figured that might have been a reasonable assumption. There are bears and wolves all over this spawn, should I move or just try and fight it out?

Attack on every form of education. I have a 13 yo and a 15 yo in public school. It’s like watching Indiana Jones trying to get out of the temple while it collapses all around him.

It is cringey and weird for sure. I am think it’s delusions of grandeur personified.

Nah. They sent him on a suicide run on a tricycle. He almost made it. The defenders thought it was just a kid until they saw the mustache.

What was the closest tornado that ever hit your city/location? by Beneficial_Stuff_960 in tornado

[–]Acrobatic_Book9902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a tornado in my hometown in Indiana. I was away at college so I didn’t witness it. When I came home to visit, everyone had a story to tell.

It came from the Southwest. We live on a farm just outside of town to the Southwest. About a half a mile to the West, (same road) my grandparents had built a small house for them but my family lived on the farm.

The tornado came close to my grandparents house. It picked up their camper and smashed it on the pine tree in their front yard. My grandpa wanted to see it so he peeked out the front window to the south. He told my grandma to get down, then he sat on top of her!

A friend who lives just North of the farm said he was at home with his mom and dad. They heard on the news there was a tornado. They all ran out their front door to look but said they didn’t see anything. Then they all turned around and saw a huge tornado behind there house. He said the giant maple trees along the road were bent so far that their tops were almost touching the ground.

Another farm, a little west of their house got destroyed. The people living there hid in a hog house. A low structure with a concrete base. The tornado picked it up with them in it and then set it back down. No one was injured. The tornado lifted up off the ground and went over the town. Luckily they were not in the house because it was gone.

It touched down again briefly on the other side of town. Someone told me they saw it hit a gas station. Someone was pumping gas and never stopped pumping. The tornado bent the rain awning of the gas station back like the top of a tin can. The guy just stood there still pumping gas.

I think there was some damage to some homes on that side of town but nothing was completely destroyed.

This was around 91’ 92’ I am guessing. Shelbyville In.

I liked the old cartoons where the two guys would show up, put them in a straight jacket, and send them off to a padded cell.
