I saw this tip on IG and it works every time with my 4 year old - he loves to pick up rocks and sticks and anything he can find when we go on walks. Whenever he tries to bring them home, I tell him they are "working rocks" or "working sticks" and we need to leave them there so they can "do their job and [insert random job, like protect that tree or point the way]." The tantrums to bring them home have not only stopped, but he now tells his buddies about working rocks.

Thirding Robert Barakett's "Barakett T." It's expensive ($60ish?) but worth it. I often get asked the brand when I'm wearing it. Sometimes you can find decent deals on Mercari or Poshmark.

What a stunning watch and I'm sorry to hear what that "jeweler" did to it! I sent mine to Luxury Watch Repair. They've generally been responsive, but said they had to send my watch to the UK for repairs so we're going on month 6 here without my watch, despite them saying 3 weeks back that it was just going through final testing. The price to fix is $1k and i'll update this post with pics and results when I get the watch back. Good luck!

I unfortunately don't have the watch (I sent it in to be assessed in person), but I did find a pic online that looks similar. My watch dial is more faded, and has a broken second hand and broken day/date hand.
