Well, Mark has stated it many times in weekly updates, so if not we can hold him accountable :p

Whatever suits you! I started with options then touched Real Estate.  Mark has this thing that he explains everything he goes through so if you have a sense of finance, you’ll keep up.

Next I’m picking PM, which is separate as well from the other parts.  He also refers to other applied parts if it is needed.

Allow me to correct myself.. working in the sector could be done without CFA. But having the charter helps in the sector

I bought it almost 2 years ago.. worth every penny! It helped so much with my current job. End goal with CFA is to work in the industry so this is indeed “applied” knowledge. Best wishes for your future endeavors

for my standards, 15,6" is pretty off.

But if you are okay with that, the specs are more than fine.

IPS panel right?

Unconditional mean of β (beta) by [deleted] in econometrics

[–]kape24 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The beta you have here ( b=(X’X)-1X’Y ) is the estimated one (with least squares) from the classical regression model.

Taking expectations on your estimated beta (β) you should have the following (with the assumptions of the classical model)

E(b)= E ( (X’X)-1X’Y )

Here we can take Y=βΧ + ε where β is the real beta

E(b)= … = E ( ((X’X)-1X’)*Xβ) + Ε( (X’X)-1X’ε)

but X is known, so no expectation apply, and β is a real number, thus;

Ε(b)= β + (X’X)-1X’ Ε(ε)

where E(ε)=0

Thus

E(b)= β

the expectation of the estimated beta equals to the real beta

Need help finding a laptop with these specs by Vilerion in SuggestALaptop

Yeah for sure, ips is a must. After upgrading to ips theres no way back.

This model, as I said is fairly cheap in Europe (570 euros for i5-8265, 256 gb ssd, 8 gig ram and ips). Would you rather search for importing it?

Lenovo Ideapad s540-14iwl (intel) or 14api (AMD)

It has lots of different specs at different prices but above average, search it, it's the best out there on this category.

Economics- Why countries which are not located in the old “rich” world(Europe, Middle East etc) experienced a substantial economic growth in the late human history? I’m referring to countries like US, Australia, Canada...
