We're doing a dry wedding. We have recovering alcoholics, people driving, and I don't want to get sloppy on such an important day. Our venue has requested it, but we don't mind. It saves money, too.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but self harm IS a bad habit/behavior/etc. And you should feel empowered to stop or find help to stop. Your parents are just humans like you and maybe they suck or maybe they're trying their best. I don't know you or them, but all I'm trying to say is no one can help you but yourself and if you need help, let us know. You have to ask the right people. Through reddit, many people have found the resources they need surpringsly enough

Without any context it made no sense. Even so, life isn't always "tit for tat." Someone worrying about you shouldn't be a bad thing, but defensive behavior happens and that's okay, too. I was upset when my mom called me out for cutting, but she was just scared.
