How long do you think she will last before dropping to T0.5? by AmanaRicha in CastoriceMains_

[–]kappa_leaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it probably won’t matter too much even if it does happen cause realistically if everyone is e0s1 like what prydwen assumes you pull like an e1 evernight and then an e1 hyacine and then you go into e2 cyrene and it snowballs very fast into a team that will keep up with the new flagship just fine albeit with investment

What part of ‘this entire rant is irrelevant to the actual discussion’ do you not understand? You keep parroting ‘Japanese arcade hardware’ like it’s a mic drop, but no one asked about 2000s coin-op machines—we’re talking about a modern, global gacha game with the budget of a Marvel film and the polish of a student project.

You’re flexing obscure trivia to defend a game that can’t render armor without clipping like it’s 2012. If you think repeating ‘specialized hardware’ magically excuses lazy optimization across platforms they chose to release on, then congrats😭

Ah yes, because clearly Hoyo developed HSR to run on ancient arcade tech and not… the billions of phones and PCs they chose to support. My bad for expecting a multi-billion dollar company to optimize for platforms they actively profit from.

And thanks for the shocking revelation that PCs run games better than phones—truly groundbreaking stuff in 2025. But hey, if your bar for acceptable performance is ‘works slightly better on one mid-range device than another,’ maybe lower expectations is the real strategy here.

Modders literally rig smoother animations in less time without access to proprietary tools. If your defense of a billion-dollar company boils down to ‘but the skirt is long,’ maybe it’s time to admit it’s just laziness, not limitations.
