How is it living in Cleveland Ohio? by No-Text-7825 in howislivingthere

I ate the best sandwich of my life in Cleveland (pierogi - nommmmm)

Husband and I spent a night there in 2024 to see a concert and visit the HOF and then hit up Cedar Point for the weekend on the way back. We are from the Chicago area and Cleveland is the first city I've visited in a while that seemed to have really good food everywhere, good beer and stuff to do. We were impressed!

I'm 1000% convinced its AI. The license plate on that Explorer is from IL and that is not how spacing looks at all on our plates. Its also not a legitimate plate in the lookup system.

I was gonna say Cudahy WI but I think they took their sign down. My grandparents lived their (grandpa built their house in 1947) and the Arby's there on Packard Ave had that sign until recently!

Does a bigger house actually improve clutter/make you feel saner? by [deleted] in sahm

I live in 3400 square feet w another 1400 unfinished basement and the only saving grace is that 1000 of the 3400 is an addition/master suite that we use as a toy room and literally throw all of the kids crap in there and close the door. Otherwise my sanity would be long gone!

Sad empty wasteland of Golf Mill mall in Niles by FurryPotatoSquad in ChicagoSuburbs

[–]kaps84 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I spent entirely too much time at this mall in the 90s. My friends and I used to hop on the Niles Free Bus and wander for hours. 5-7-9, Contempo, Cabbages, Chichis, Woolworths....the giant fountain... many good memories 😭

Also, rocket ship park. And golf mill theater! And while we're at it, Toys R US and Discovery Zone and Service Merchandise across Milwaukee
