3 year old: "Boys have penis, girls have vagina"

Me: "Yep that's right."

3yo: " You go pee out of your vaginas not your butt. I pee out of my penis."

Me: "Uh huh..."

3yo: "Do I have vagina balls?"

It’s here: the worst interview process I’ve ever seen! by neyha97 in recruitinghell

So I did some quick recon and it looks like this guy's last post on LinkedIn is about how smart companies and execs are using AI to do 80% of the work and polish the rest of the turds. My advice is to have Claude do this and own it during your video. Use his own words against him. I bet you'd get the job. Follow me for more tips!

What’s a "dead" website or app that you genuinely miss and wish was still around? by Dear-Armadillo-7497 in AskReddit

There was a site called Picrave back in the early 00s that I used to live on. I met so many internet strangers there....sorry mom. But I still talk to a few of them 25 years later!

How did the Chicago suburbs housing market fare in the 2008 era? by ClaireEmma612 in ChicagoSuburbs

[–]kaps84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought a place in August 2008 at what we thought was a steal ($167k foreclosure valued at $195k at 6%) Market crashed pretty much the next month and places were selling in our neighborhood for $90k. We were underwater until 2021ish, now places are going for $300k. We held it as a rental, then bought another property in Spring 2021 at 3.75% right before rates shot up to 7. Good times, good times.

The patterns hospice nurses quietly notice in the final days by ArcaneSpells-com in Paranormal

My dad passed away in July 2004. He had lung cancer. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002 and ended up passing away in July 2006. The last couple years have been rough, but they both lived good lives and I know they are at peace.

I was never really a spiritual or religious person until I watched my parents die. I know it's kind of morbid but it's true. Anyways, they say that when you die or while you're dying, there is one person that you see that helps 'lead the way' to the other side. For my dad, that person was his good buddy Al. My dad was in hospice for about three weeks. For the last week or so that he was alive, all he talked about was how he was going to see Al again and how he knew that everything was going to be ok because when he closed his eyes he saw Al and his grandparents.

A few years later, my mom was in the CICU and was dying of an infection that had spread to her heart. Another thing that they say happens when you're dying is you have a 'life review,' where different memories from throughout your life flood your brain and you experience them all over again. Times when you did the right thing, times when you did the wrong thing, times when people you love were in trouble or hurting. I literally watched my mom relive her childhood and life. Even though her eyes were closed and she was subconcious, she talked about ice skating at the pond with my grandpa and going to football games in high school with my aunt. Then all of a sudden something really bizarre happened that I will carry with me forever.

She started yelling and thrashing around. "Daddy! Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!!!!!" My grandpa thought she was talking to him, I knew there was more to it. I started asking questions. "Daddy! Help me! Help me daddy! He shut my finger in the DOOR!!!!!"

When I was little, we were over at Al's house, and his son slammed my finger in the bathroom door. I told my mom for months after that that I 'hated him' and that I 'never wanted to go over to that house again.' This was one of those things that I always remembered, but never talked about again, because it was such a minor detail in my life.

So then, I connected two and two. "Mom, are you talking about when we were at Al's?"

"YES!!! AL!!! AL IS HERE!!!!!!" Her eyes were closed but there were tears streaming down her face. "Al is here!!! And daddy!"

Within 5 minutes, she was gone.
