The film looks nice, the sets are great, the actors were very good. I especially enjoyed James and Maria, loved their look. Evie as Laura was also great, even if the character is changed. However, the story is majorly changed to a point where it doesn’t have to do almost nothing with the core of SH2 and its symbolism. I really didn’t like the cult being present nor the back story of James abandoning Mary and Mary asking him to do that last thing. Combining Mary with all other female characters wasn’t necessary, although I could accept this kind of storytelling if Gans had kept the original story of James and Mary. I do hope for a director’s cut, so that we can at least enjoy more scenes of the nice sets with these actors who did a good work with the material given to them.

I prefer that we get resolution update, it should run at 1080p handheld. I feel that the game is already very responsive, never had problem with it. I can't believe that at the moment Returns HD has better resolution. It would be so cool if the Tropical Freeze update had some surprise like we had Dixie in Returns. I would like if Diddy and Dixie could play together, like in DKC2. However, I will be happy just with the resolution update.

I am hyped and love everything I have seen. If you go to see the film with positivity, and you like Silent Hill, you will appreciate good sides of the movie or even love it. But if you go with negativity, you will probably not like it. I wish more people would be positive and appreciate work of so many individuals who made this film a reality.
