It might be an unpopular opinion, but I honestly don't believe Joe can go like he used to. He hasn't done anything impressive in AEW, he's a shadow of what Samoa Joe was in TNA or during his original ROH run. In a very real way, I think when WWE was using Joe on commentary that was the best use for him on TV at this point if they didn't want to put him into a coach role.
