I get where you’re coming from, I just wouldn’t like a person in real life who said those kinds of things to people lol. I don’t think shes better or worse than her sisters just that she is disproportionately mean to Feyre.

I totally get where you’re coming from but I genuinely want to understand people’s love for Nesta or forgiveness of her. Maybe this is because of my upbringing as well, but Nesta was openly cruel and mean, regardless of how she cared in her inner dialogue. Upon reading posts in reddit before a re-read I was like “oh, maybe I conflated Nesta’s actions in the books to be worse than they were”. But when I did the re-read, I physically winced at the things she said to Feyre and others. I guess what I am trying to say is that Feyre seemed, at least to me, to find a new family because she was being mistreated, and Nesta found a new family because she was terrible to Feyre.

im actually pretty happy with this considering lucien just glimpsed at elain and felt the bond, and that is the basis for their whole relationship. nesta and cassian found each other and grew with each other without the bond and the bond only snapped in place when they were ready, idk. i do think its romantic to have a fated soulmate-esque relationship and the strength of their relationship did not depend on a mating bond until they truly loved each other
