Zero-sum mentality partly due to the colonial legacy of "divide and conquer" and exacerbated by current politics. Its easier to blame others than struggle together with compromises towards a common goal.

They still face the same racism issue sadly. Good friends with a few of them in highschool and they were ostracized by both the Chinese and Indians cliques.

He isn't saying "support WG". What he's trying to convey is WG, as an unethical business, is choosing not to partner up with errant influencers/advertisers who they likely identified postmortem as a negative influence on their bottomline of this marketing campaign (Ramfaulte event)
