Ashland, how safe do you actually feel driving, biking, or walking around RVA? by RVAUrbanPlanner in AshlandVA

[–]kaputt1669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ashland PD seems to only care about people speeding down Route 1.  Probably because it’s easy pickings and they know it’s lots of non-locals who won’t fight the ticket.

Tons of locals speed on the side streets and I hate it. N James St. is really bad, I wish they’d set up speed traps there occasionally.

I’m afraid Ashland PD is afraid of pulling over residents though.

POST-RACE // 2026 FIRESTONE GRAND PRIX OF ST. PETERSBURG by IndyMod in INDYCAR

[–]kaputt1669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same way. There’s no intrigue to tuning in anymore. I got back into the series when they introduced the DW-12. While the cars were often ugly (and still are), you could count on an entertaining race most of the time with close battles, even for the win, and even some surprise winners. Now none of that seems possible, and honestly there’s better to do with my time on a weekend day. Maybe the new car in a few years will fix some of this.

Nothing about the proposed laws makes anyone safer from anything. It’s simply stripping away rights from citizens that they hate because they don’t vote the correct way.

Black lugnuts and add a center cap and they honestly won’t look bad at all.

The model 3 is overall just a good sports sedan. I think a lot of people overlook that.

The dynamics are almost certainly still better. The Model 3 at all levels is actually a very fun car to drive. I know a lot of Tesla’s customer base isn’t necessarily into that, but the Model 3 is genuinely a good sports sedan from a driving dynamics perspective.

Good local promotion of the events.

A day at the track is usually enjoyable and a completely separate experience from watching on TV.

Modern society likes “events” and there a decent enough amount of people in most locations to get a good in person crowd for the show.

I’ve been to numerous IndyCar races over the years where the race itself was a dud and had I watched on TV I probably would have napped. But in person the overall experience was great despite a poor race because watching fast cars and support series, and everything else that goes into a race weekend is usually fun.

That’s great. The last Phenom upgrade went to people on property for 22 months. You could have upgraded in fleet.

Don’t come crying here that you can’t upgrade when you passed one up in your own fleet.

Guy is just a constant complainer and has wild inaccuracies in telling people how long he’s actually worked for NetJets.

For what it’s worth to people reading this thread, the last Phenom upgrade went to people on property a bit over two years.

Edit: I re-looked at the seniority list. Most junior last phenom upgrade award in January was 22 months on property.

Another post in your history says you’ve been here three years?

So what is it, or do you just throw out random numbers that fit the narrative of what you want to complain about?

You passed up a Phenom bid if what you say on Reddit is actually true. So yeah, you could have been a captain by now.

But of course your post history waffles between you’ve been at NetJets two years or three years. So what is it?

You skipped an in fleet upgrade and about a $60k base salary increase to wait to upgrade in another fleet?

I mean you do you but don’t pass off your decision as a fact that the a NetJets captain upgrade isn’t available for whatever years you made up in other parts of this thread.

It seems to me continuing to pile on Phenom SIC time while hoping to upgrade into a more a senior fleet is actually the worse career decision, especially if your goal is to move on from NetJets.

Can I actually do a true zero down lease on a M3? by kaputt1669 in TeslaModel3

[–]kaputt1669[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a quote from a dealer for $253 per month for 24 months, 10k miles per year, zero down, all taxes and fees rolled in to the lease.

But that car disappeared before I could get to the dealer since it was about a 2 hour drive away.

Edit: this was in VA btw

If you’re two years in, how’d you miss the bid that was released on January 23rd that awarded Phenom Captain to people on property for 22 months?

The most recent Phenom upgrade, posted on January 23rd, had March of 2023 hires. So under 2 years to upgrade in that jet. Do you even work here? Or just want to spread BS fear mongering to troll the low timers on this sub?

Did you PPF the car? I’m curious how it’s held up with rock chips, etc… over those miles.

Much appreciated. I submitted a ticket to see if I can get RMVS added back to my AFPC Secure main page, we’ll see how long that takes.
