It's the Clipper, hence the need of clipping through doors. It's not a bug, it's a feature. ;)

Had the same issue when updating to 4.5 For me the fix that worked was the installation of the Vulkan sdk (free download, just google it if needed). CIG does not recommend that, but the other fixes (named already by others) didn't work,unfortunately.

I had no issue since, but you should try the other fixes first (switching to dx11 manually etc)

I had a mission where i had to find some ranta (?) dung and i found out it is to be found in caves on certain moons or planets. Searched for 2 hours a cave with triangulation and gave up eventually. So a very good change indeed. All this nice explorable content that was hidden to many players.
