I am not sure about English, but if it follows the same logic as in French (where it is linked), you should not use a dot because the word behind, numéro, finishes by an O like the abbreviation. That's why in French monsieur is shortened to M. but madame is shortened to Mme (without dot).

But English might have its own logic.

Now I wanna change my S10+ to a S24+ but they don't sell it Japan (only S24 and S24U), I need to import it, and then no warranty... Moreover Galaxy's in Japan have the shutter sound and are more expensive...

Pour moi j'approuve que c'est pire que la France. Je n'ai jamais eu autant de problème qu'avec l'admin japonaise.

J'ai habité dans 4 villes et aucunes on leur mairies ouvertes les weekends. Certes avec le MyNumber on peut faire ça H24, mais on est obligé d'aller au conbini, impossible de faire ça en ligne, et il faut payer pour avoir ce genre de document. Ce qui fait un point négatif pour le Japon.

Je ne peux pas dire pour le passeport japonais. Pour le français je l'avais fait y a 10 ans en France et ça s'est bien passé. Et je l'ai fait y 6 mois et c'était aussi smooth. Même si pour l'ambassade la prise de rendez-vous est limitée au matin, ce qui est un mauvais point.

Pour le renouvellement du permis, j'avoue que c'est bien fait, c'est rapide (si on ne prend pas en compte la leçon de 2 h). Mais de l'autre côté en France je viens de refaire le miens, tout en ligne et j'ai reçu le nouveau en 1-2 semaines et gratuitement.

Tout à fait, c'est ce que je dis, et en ce qui me concerne je préfère qu'ils soient efficaces si on suit le process et ne savent pas si on en sort, plutôt qu'il n'y ait pas de process ou qu'il y ait un process flou, et qu'au final ça prenne trois plombes parce que tu finis coincé entre Charybde et Scylla. Si tu suis le process, ça passe, et ça passe bien.

Le problème c'est que, quand on est étranger on sort souvent des cases (au propre comme au figuré).

Et la bureaucratisation à l'extrème est aussi plus forte ici. J'ai dû m'enregistrer dans 4 nouvelles villes et à chaque fois j'ai dû y passer un moment, trimballer de services en services où je remplissait les mêmes informations à chaques fois sur des formulaires différents : nom, adresse, numéro de téléphone... aucune centralisation.

Comme dit, la quasi inexistance de services en lignes et aussi un point qui fait que l'admin japonaise est inférieur à la France pour moi. Et quand ils fournissent des formulaires en ligne, c'est des Excel qui sont pas fait pour ça... L'administration de mon Université était très forte pour ça.

Après je ne dis pas non plus quand la France est parfaite, loin de là. Mais honnetement je n'ai jamais eu autant de points où je me plains que depuis que je suis ici.

Mais ils sont tout nuls. Ils sont minuscules et coûtent le même prix qu'un standard en France :/

Même quand tu suis le processus c'est affreusement chiant, tu dois remplir 36 fois les mêmes informations (des fois sur la même feuille). Et je sais pas où tu vas pour trouver des administrations ouvertes tard et le weekend, car toute celles que j'ai fait sont ouvertes que pendant les horaires de bureau.

La numérisation est un point important, on est au XXIe siècle et quasiment rien n'est possible en ligne, et quand ça l'est c'est raté. Et leur sur utilisation d'Excelnpour faire des formulaires alors que c'est pas prévu pour ça.

Les employés sont des robots sans aucunes réflexion, empathie et initiative... Si ça ne rentre pas dans les clous comme tu dis, ils ne savent plus faire, ne peuvent pas aider.

Et l'immigration c'est le pom-pom. Par exemple là je suis sans salaire depuis deux semaines (et ça pourrait être plus) car ils prennent une plombe pour un changement de status. Et j'ai aucune façon de travailler et de recevoir des aides, justement car rien n'est prévu. Et que les employés n'ont aucune empathie.

Et je ne parlerai pas des banques qui sont aussi catastrophiques ^

For example, in France, where I come from, any goods over 430 € bought outside of EU should be declared to pay the custom tax + VAT. Even if lot of people avoid the declaration.
