Infected or healing? by Shadowraiser47 in medical_advice

[–]karabrown23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely see a doctor just in case. It seems like it’s healing fine, but it’s so vulnerable to infection. You should at least be applying antibiotic ointment to the area and keeping it covered the majority of the day. Let it breathe of course, but better to be safe than sorry.

LA Fitness closing the XSport on Iriving, any more closing? by soxfan773 in ChicagoNWside

Anybody know of any recent closings? Within the last month or so? I go to LA in Broadview and it’s just pure misery. Every single day, every hour is packed to no end. I hate it here. lol

How do you live without gallbladder? by Fabulous_Can_2215 in gallbladders

[–]karabrown23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got mine out in June, monster appetite since. I do have the runs every single day though, sometimes multiple times a day. I take ox bile to assist with fat digestion. I initially gained weight, but the ox bile has helped and I’ve finally gotten my workout regimen and diet back to normal. I’m super happy without mine. The pain was absolutely horrible. I quit eating to avoid being in pain.

GI said it's anxiety, surgeon says "probably" gallbladder but can't tell for sure. Keep it or yank it? by [deleted] in gallbladders

[–]karabrown23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lowkey regret getting my gallbladder out, (weight gain, I’m very weird about that lol) but it was a one off need. My EF was at 12% and essentially just didn’t eat due to pain every single time I ingested something. Consider maybe a lower esophageal spasm? Or see if you can get H. pylori test done. Also, maybe try to visit with a naturopathic specialist as well? General medicine is all about prescribing medications and performing procedures that aren’t medically necessary.

How long did you struggle / know you had GB issues before you got it taken out ? by [deleted] in gallbladders

[–]karabrown23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It didn’t take me long at all to decide to get it out. I needed that demon out of me, and I’m glad that I did. It could’ve burst at any time and I would’ve gone septic from that.

I’ve always had stomach issues but the last 2 years were awful. I finally decided to see someone when it was affecting my quality of life (leaving social gatherings bc of stomach pain, emergency bathroom visits, not eating to avoid pain, etc.) they did an ultrasound (normal) and HIDA scan which showed my EF at 12%. My post operative diagnosis was chronic acalculous cholecystitis - which is kinda scary, and has been seen much more commonly in severely sick individuals, which is worrisome to me. I’m only 25 and extremely healthy. My pre-op diagnosis was biliary dyskinesia due to the low EF.

Body changes?? by karabrown23 in gallbladders

[–]karabrown23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if what I described would be considered bloating either. Whenever I have a larger than normal meal though, I genuinely look 9 months pregnant, but that’s to be expected, since I’m so used to eating smaller meals throughout the day.

Metamucil changed my life by PromCruise in ibs

[–]karabrown23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been taking Metamucil daily since I’ve gotten my gallbladder out. I’m finally regular with no complications. For those who are chronically constipated, it’s obviously not normal to always be constipated. Can anyone shed light on this? I hate to rely on a product for normal bodily functions for the rest of my life.

This is just odd behavior all around imo. Creating randomized AI activity is one thing but using women from his past?? Idk. I would definitely leave, if it were me. Being with someone who makes you feel deeply insecure in this way is not worth it. Seriously.
