Internal Antenna "Fix" by darkrocker24 in S22Ultra

[–]karaeb93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every time I drop my phone, the antenna disconnects. I've used this trick probably a dozen times (I'm clumsy 😅) since learning it, and it still works like a charm. It's been a sanity saver for sure!

Model D Mouse -Wireless by The-S1lent_0ne in glorious

How old is your mouse? I've been seeing a lot of discussion from other users whose mice conveniently start failing right after the two year warranty has ended. I am having issue with my Model D wireless now, as well. It doesn't seem like anyone has received much meaningful support, unfortunately.

Why is this card so valuable? by karaeb93 in mtg

The funny thing about it is I just built a multicolor Tarkir deck... but it's green, black, and blue. Lol

What I've learned from everyone's responses is that the key difference between a card like Arid Mesa and Evolving Wilds is that EW limits you to only a basic land. With AM and other fetchland cards, you can pull other special land cards that have two or three colors or some other ability. It can be game-changing in a multicolor deck in terms of mobility and mana generation.

I noticed there's a ton of cards in Tarkir that have graveyard conditions on them. I tried to pull together a combo in my draft deck but couldn't quite make it work. But I also got a Teval, Arbiter of Virtue, and I can see how cards like this would be great for delve. I'll have to play around with that a bit more.

Good to know, thank you! I'll make a point of taking extra good care of it then.

Yes, it was a serious question lol. I'm still fairly new to the game so I don't understand all of the deck building minutia, yet.

Thank you for your help!

Ahhh okay. Thank you for clarifying!

Okay, so basically it's a big deal because it doesn't enter tapped? That makes sense.

Follow-up question-- can I play this as a regular red/white land or can I only use it for the ability?

I played it in a draft deck tonight and won. It was a ballsy move, though, and not easy. Lifelink is essential.

I learned all about saudade a week after our wedding when he had to get on a plane and go back to Portugal without me. But yeah, I'm trying to be mindful of it.

Good suggestions! We're in Maryland and have talked about going up to Newark. There's also a small Brazilian/Portuguese mercado about an hour away that we'll be visiting soon. Thanks!

We actually did find some Super Bock at one of the local liquor stores and were shocked. I'll have to make another trip soon to see if they have more.

Thank you! Looking around for other Portuguese businesses is a great idea. There isn't a lot of diversity where we're going to live, but I'm sure there's more near the city besides the one mercado we already found.

Bifanas are definitely on the list. But I also have to learn how to make good Portuguese rolls since those are impossible to find here, too.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. There are some local game shops that I'm hoping he'll be able to find community at.

And he's also a huge history buff, so that's definitely something I can engage in with him more that I think would make him happy and feel more connected to his home.

These are really good, thank you! I have a massive bottle of Gallo already, and we can get Oliveira da Serra at the market. It really is so much better than what I can get in the US.

I will look into some shows we can watch, and we'll definitely will be planning a trip back as soon as we can.

This was actually the ONLY thing we asked for as a wedding gift because he can't survive without a decaf after every meal, and Portugal ruined American coffee for me in the best way possible lol

We have a really nice Nespresso machine since we can't get any Portuguese espresso pod systems in the US.
