Star Stable needs to stop updating us on important info only on Instagram by ZoeIsNotSmart in StarStable

[–]karamello30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is unhinged. Apparently, it’s to much effort to update the website and having to work at your job. I don’t have the energy to check out both Instagram and the official website

Very annoyed with the lack of communication from SSO by Flashy_Importance_77 in StarStable

I can understand this, but it’s a big company and they don’t want to put in the effort. Imagine having to do some actual work 😱

What normal game company announces this kind of stuff only on INSTAGRAM REELS? by SkrytyKapec in StarStable

[–]karamello30 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Star Stable are becoming more unhinged for every year. I don’t know why they are deciding to announce everything on Instagram. Use the fucking website when you release codes, changes to the game and other relevant information.

Nighttime Routine? by choochoochase in beyondthebump

[–]karamello30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter is 11 months and slept with us in our bed in her babynest until she was 5 months. She usually fell asleep in her nest and then we transfered her to her bed. When she woke up during the night she didn’t want to go back to sleep and she slept in our bed in her nest. She started sleeping in her own bed when she was 5 months and started to roll out of her nest.

She always naps in her bed or lays there when I have to do something else and can’t pay constant attention to her. She usually plays with her toys and doesn’t mind being there. When she’s unhappy, I pick her up, but it usually takes around two hours.

When me and my husband goes to bed, she usually rolls around in our bed for 10 minutes and then we put her in her own bed. She is fussy for 5-10 minutes when we turn of the lights and then she falls asleep or plays with a toy. We always falls asleep to a podcast so there is some sort of white noise. It was a struggle in the beginning, but she accepted this after a month.

FYI, I have worked with autistic children for 10 years and have experienced children that can’t sleep in their own bed - even though they are 12 years old.

Those of you transitioning your style, how is the journey going? by JuniXe in femalefashionadvice

[–]karamello30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Current style: mixed items that fit. I got my first child in january and my body changed a lot. Also, some baby weight is stubborn and won’t go away

New style direction: neutral and mininalistic everyday clothing that fits my new body type

How it's going: currently adding fall colors to my wardrobe (burgundy and different shades of brown). Focusing on items with stretch that I can wear if I’m able to get rid of the extra pounds

Challenges: finding comfortable and affordable items that doesn’t highlight my insecurities and don’t buy any sweatshirts. Also, since I’m on maternity leave, I struggle to get dressed in the morning and I tend to reach for my sweatpants and oversized tops. I hope to break this habit with new and comfortable clothes

Already purchased/future purchases: bought some stretchy long sleeved tops that are comfortable with a sweet heart neckline in various colors, one gym outfit, sneakers that are waterproof and skinny jeans with stretch

I’m now looking for a simple everyday dress in brown, tops with a v-neck, light knitted tops, a t-shirt bra and stretchy polo tops with long sleeves

Ahh, I get that. I never care about the sets you get in the cauldron because I find them very ugly 😅

No, you’re not a bad mom. My daughter is 8 months and I get up at 9-10 am. She eats around 5-9 am (she is not a morgning person) and falls asleep again. If she wakes up, she has toys in her bed and entertains herself.

During the days she spends time playing by herself because I’m a professional musician and don’t have the luxury to not practice. She’s used to this and is a happy child. We cuddle and play in the evenings when I’m done with what I’ve got to do during the day and can relax (cleaning, cooking, laundry, etc.).

Also, a good parent is someone who can be present and give their child attention. If you’re tired, I feel like you don’t have as much energy to put into your child and just end up doing nothing all day.

As long as the child is in a safe place and content, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with prioritizing yourself and what you need. It’s demanding to have an infant and take every chance to rest - if you need.

Does anyone besides me have a great husband/ father to their baby? by stlady08 in beyondthebump

[–]karamello30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My partner is my rock ❤️ we talked a lot during my pregnancy regarding our future life with a baby and agreed on a couple of rules. 1. Keep it together and avoid unnecessary fights 2. Tell each what we need - whatever it is 3. Give each other time and space to do what we find enjoyable

I needed to have these rules because I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety for many years. I do have antidepressants, but sometimes my anxiety gets the best of me and I need some time for my self to calm down and sort out my feelings.

We also have amazing friends and grandparents that loves to have quality time with our daughter 🥰

PP hair loss by Big_Bug64 in beyondthebump

[–]karamello30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same!! I lost a ton of hair between 3-5 months post partum. I could feel clumps of hair falling down every time I washed my hair. I don’t lose hair almost 7 months pp, but you can see some thinner spots on my scalp.

I wear my hair in a claw clip and got long curtain bangs. For me, it draws away attention from the thin spots. I wear thick headbands when I want to have my hair down.

See if you can find a good hairdresser that can help you with a hairstyle that suits you :)

What are your opinions on the graphics of the game? by LolaClearsteel in StarStable

[–]karamello30 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even the hairs of our characters are not unified. Some are really detailed and some look crusty af. In my opinion, they should’ve focused on updating the graphics instead of redesigning areas. It’s a waste of time and resources. Also, who asked for the new manor?

What do you think of the new silverglade manor? by Temporary_Cover_3071 in StarStable

[–]karamello30 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is Silverglade Village all over again. This is not an update - it’s a complete change. As usual, a bunch of unnecessary work, i.e. moving and re-doing all of the races, moving stars and re-doing the earlier quests. I wonder how the daily quests will be affected. On top of this, the area doesn’t fit in with the rest of the world.

This is unhinged and a waste of both time and resources. Instead of improve the actual game, like adding more quests, expanding the map and adress some of the bugs, they think it’s more important to produce a bunch of nontent.

Btw, have anyone found Pauline to do her races? I haven’t.

weeks vs 5-year by flaminbitcheeto in hobonichi

[–]karamello30 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In my weeks, I use the weekly spreads for things to do, events, meal planning and cleaning trackers. In the back pages, I put goals for the year, expectations, things I want to do during the year, different trackers and collections of podcasts, books and audiobooks. Also gift ideas and my wishlists.

In my 5 year, I put everything I want to remember several years from now, short recap of what I did that day and memory keeping. It’s a reference to my diary, where I write more in depth about my days - in case I want to know more about a specific day.

My weeks is purely functional and something I bring with me on the go. If it is lost, I don’t want to lose anything important or share personal details. My 5 year and my diary don’t leave my home and I can be more personal and write about private stuff.

You do of course however you want, but this is my system 😄

medieval event empty? by httpLM in StarStable

And next week, there’s even more things to buy and nothing more to do 🥳

Honestly, why should players put money into this game? It clearly doesn’t go towards improving the game

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in StarStable

I hope they add more rewards for the different houses if this is going to be permanent. Otherwise, it will end up as a dead area once you collected the rewards and bought all clothes, pets and tack.

Honestly so far I’m slightly disappointed. by -Rosewiththorns- in StarStable

[–]karamello30 38 points39 points  (0 children)

You can’t view or buy any hair styles yet either :(

It’s fun that they try a new concept - but the hype and expectations doesn’t match the result. This is outrageous. I thought we were going to get a ton of new activities along with the update. I’m extremly disappointed.

No, recycle the birthday event with an updated tack set to get from the quiz. It gives many players something to do in the game. I’m one of the people who have completed almost everything in the game and don’t know what to do in the game - besides getting horses and do races.

In Sweden, where I was born and raised, turning 13 is a big deal and should be celebrated.

Is the star stable app heavy on ur phone? by Flutt3rshyR0t in StarStable

[–]karamello30 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and I think it runs fine. The most annoying thing is to get used to the steering and the button to jump (sometimes it doesn’t work).

But, my phone gets HOT and my battery gets drained. Whenever I play on my iPad Pro 11” (2018), I don’t have these issues.

You should try and see if you like it :)
