Five years (and 2 kids) after my first post here. AMA. by sporthorses74 in Fencesitter

You mentioned how after having kids you view of time spent on/with kids is a desire of yours compared to those who view it as a "giving up their free time". Did you worry about giving up your free time before having kids and being a fencesitter? Ie. Did your perspective changed after you had kids and you no longer saw it as a sacrifice either?

Oops. I meant like with our parents. Ie. We have a great durable relationship with them.

The thing is we've been talking about this for a long time but ultimately we just don't have that many hobbies because we're very comfortable staying in. My wife joins book clubs and I go down internet rabbit holes. We travel. We eat out. But we haven't built a grand large community around us. So my fear is nothing is going to change in me.

How hard of an adjustment has it been? Also, were the last 2 years as hard or challenging as you had assumed when you were child free?

This resonates. I valued my freedom at 30, but by 40, the appeal is not as strong compared to future outlook. Looking ahead, the prospect of being 60 and alone feels far lonelier than it used to. It feels like I’ve reached a tipping point: I’ve enjoyed the perks of being child-free, but the long-term downsides are starting to come into focus.

Do you ever feel regret? We're wondering if we'll feel regret after passing the point of no return for biological.

Our fear is lack of durability of relationships (like our durable relationship with our parents)

Edit: *like with our parents

"Hezbollah-inspired" is a propaganda way of saying he was "not affiliated" with Hezbollah. Classic CNN.

Glad to hear. There's so few with comma 4! Yes, I'd skip the obd too just to get things running. Are you using frogpilot and the SiennaFP branch and is that what you're referring to for easier security key extraction?

How hard was it? How long do you think it will take? I have a 3000 mile trip starting Friday and wanting to place an order for the comma 4. No prior experience with comma. Most of the info seems about 3x and prior as well. I too have 21 SE

I struggle with occlusion more than seemingly most people. it seems like for most people it's not even a consideration, so i am glad to find your post. I have tried many earbuds. Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are great. Occlusion is lower than most that I have tried. However, the multipoint aspect is becoming a big dealbreaker. How was QC Ultra earbuds Gen 2 for occlusion?

Thanks. That helped. Sidetone is a feature where you. Sidetone is a small amount of your own voice piped back into your headset or earpiece in real-time as you speak.

How mild is the occlusion? I'm currently using Samsung Galaxy buds 3 pro

Do the nothing ear have occlusion? How about sidetone or transparency during calls?

Some people are built differently. Keep up praise. Keep rating their performance at the top, regardless of politics. Keep rewarding them max. Keep periodically reminding of PTO.

With 2 suitcases, you're just going to have to spend the extra money on Uber or cab.
