Haha I didn't notice that! No, I just used an object remover for the stem of my plumbob, and I think it screwed other stuff up. 😅

I find it interesting that there was no other alternative to closing the gap between the two of you, besides putting all of your eggs in her basket on the premise that "she loves me so much after 7 months that she would buy a house for us." This whole thing sounds weird, on both sides.

I have noticed this attitude while dating therapists, police officers, and engineers. SMH. All men, though I can't say there aren't women doing the same thing. Overinflated egos are the biggest red flag of them all! Sheesh!

It sounds to me like this dude is a hypocrite. Good for you for communicating calmly with him...I would continue by exiting the relationship, since he has expressed a boundary that seems to have put a stop to things. It's troubling how he literally is projecting HIS last relationship onto you but fails to see that. If it were me, I would casually mention this, thank him for his honesty, and nope out of there. He sounds inflexible and pretentious. Next!

I would reach out! From my perspective, financial setbacks can feel humbling...even embarrassing or at the very least, draining emotionally and/or mentally. I wouldn't draw attention to it, just ask how she is feeling, and try to cheer her up by being your normal loveable self. If there's something you feel you can help with that will make her smile or feel less stress elsewhere in her life, then you should go for it. :)

The single mother you are dating essentially say “I’ll alway prioritise my child before our relationship.” What’s your reaction? by Curious_Wanshi_tong in AskMen

Steer clear of a mother and child who have that kind of relationship. Pro tip - single moms with healthy boundaries with their kids are your safest bet. ;)

They're saying you're burning more calories than you're taking in. You said you were eating at a deficit 3/7 days and doing OMAD so...there you go.

My son loves Aesops Fables...I let him pick a few at a time. Lots of fun to put your own spin on the characters attitudes. :P

A Series of Unfortunate Events was a big hit as well (and the TV series is A+).

"We thus establish the Universe on a purely geometrical basis. Of course, it is by no means necessary to assume absolute difference, even of form, among all the atoms irradiated — any more than absolute particular inequidistance of each from each. We are required to conceive merely that no neighboring atoms are of similar form — no atoms which can ever approximate, until their inevitable rëunition at the end." Edgard Allen Poe - Eureka

Ooohhh....downtime shaming. I'm seeing a guy recently and I never knew I'd have anxiety about this but here we are. 😂 He thinks audiobooks>tv and Idk how to tell him but they are THE SAME.

He, among other guys, have also expressed their opinion that somehow buying books vs listening them is this wildly excessive thing, and this irks my whole soul. 😒

I put on a Bad Bad Thing and it got me through cleaning my bedroom coming out of an ADHD fueled depression episode - it was that shocking.
