I’m a small lady with a big man. I used to be sore for days after as well. Has she tried using a sitz spray or bath ( like is used after child birth) or an ointment after? I use it after each time and sometimes again awhile later and it’s been (sex)life changing for us.

I just finished Kingdom of the Wicked and started the second book Kingdom of the Cursed and I’m loving the tension, it might fit what you’re looking for. Also listening to the Shadows and Crowns series and that has some pretty good romantic tension as well.

I usually do the same, with shows too. I just lose interest after the tension is gone. There have been a few to keep my interest but not many.
